Not a bad price for a classic british tv sitcom. (theres a few sites with this priced around the same but this is the cheapest.)

In this classic TV sitcom, Gordon Brittas (Chris Barrie) is the manager of Whitbury New Town Leisure Centre. He means well, wants to do well and desperately wants to be a good manager. Unfortunately his best talent is to continually create recipes for total disaster.

Deep down Brittas cares for his staff, but all he ever seems to do is make their lives more difficult. Trying to rise above this, and to keep the Centre running smoothly, are his assistant Laura (Julia St John) and of course Colin, complete with boil!

Behind every good man, so the saying goes, is a good woman, and behind every maniac, is a good woman losing her sanity! Helen Brittas (Pippa Haywood) is no different as she struggles to cope with her husband's misplaced enthusiasm.

This set features all seven series in their entirety - the complete Brittas Empire.

6 other retailers selling this between £28.93 and £29.99 so not sure I'd call this hot!

Fair comment, but surely one of the valuable things about this site is to bring items to one's attention.

Good deal, great show, love the set but Sendit aren't very reliable. I got my Round the Twist boxset after almost two months of waiting, but at least I got it in the end! Voted hot!

Voted cold - it's £20 direct from Eureka.

I was about to mention this too. They can be found at http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/gift.html

Never used them or heard of them until someone somewhere else mentioned it, so can't vouch for them one way or the other.

Thanks for the link to Eureka Video. I'm impressed. £20 for the full 7 series includes P+P. They have a selection of classic German films too (the silent era, etc). Just found out a bit too late for Santa's delivery tomorrow.:santa:

If it's a bad program, then paying for it is a bad deal.
