The curry has created some of the strongest cravings in culinary history. Heavily adapted

from Indian recipes, it may no longer resemble its origins, but it sizzles with a style of its own. The Curry Companion follows the spice-trail on its worldwide journey from India all the way to Bradford and Brick Lane and reveals the secrets of the spices, the brains behind the blends and demonstrates that, with the ingredients so widely available, the key to a great curry is at everyone's fingertips.

A word of warning to potential buyers, if you're looking for curry recipes or stuff like that then avoid this book. It's almost all a 'history of curry' book rather than a recipe book.

Edit: To the OP I haven't voted on this either way, hope it's what people are looking for, just wasn't for me. Cheers.
