The Da Vinci Code - £4.93
Philadelphia - £4.88
Apollo 13 - £4.21

The Da Vinci Code: Robert Langdon (Academy Award Winner Tom Hanks, Philadelphia, Forrest Gump) is caught in a 2000-year-old web of secrecy and uncovers the truth about the Holy Grail - a truth that could shatter the very foundations of Western Civilization.

Philadelphia: Hailed as a landmark film that dazzles with deep emotion and exceptional acting, Philadelphia stars Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington as two compelling lawyers who join forces to sue a prestigious law firm for AIDS discrimination. And as their unlikely friendship develops, their courage overcomes the prejudice and corruption of their powerful adversaries.

Apollo 13: Stranded 205,000 miles from Earth in a crippled spacecraft, astronauts Jim Lovell (Hanks), Fred Halse (Paxton) and Jack Swigert (Bacon) fight a desperate battle to survive. Meanwhile, at Mission Control, astronaut Ken Mattingly (Sinise), flight director Gene Kranz (Harris) and a heroic ground crew race against time - and the odds - to bring them home. It's a breathtaking adventure that tells a story of courage, faith and ingenuity that is all the more remarkable because it is true!

Eh? Is this general, is it a marked price or was it just as it scanned in your local store?:?:

Lots of info on the films, not much on the deal ..... and the link doesn't help:roll:

It's part of their in-store DVD sale, hence why you won't find it online. I presume it is general deal across the country (I found it in the Swindon 'Metro' branch).

I would have thought the word 'in-store' twice in capital letters would have hinted that it was not online.

Thanks for the clarification - it looks like a good deal if it's in all stores.

I don't think I suggested it was an online deal, I just said the link did not help (which it doesn't) - ever heard the saying "don't shoot the messenger"?

Sorry, my nerves are on edge watching Dead Set. Yeah, if it's an offline deal, don't expect any info on the 'Go to' link. I do wish there was a way that button would disappear if the deal was offline.
