Poetic licence and all that, but can you explain to me how the dad walked 200 miles in 2 days wearing snowshoes in arctic conditions?

Amazing movie. Seen this a few times although never on Blu-ray...might give it a try at this price.

Abysmal film. The biggest load of enviro-claptrap I've ever witnessed.

It's safe to say there's mixed reviews on this one :whistling:

I bought this a while ago and it does look stunning in Hi-Def the only thing is there are hardly any extras on this Blu-Ray compared to the original 2 Disc DVD release. I get the feeling there will be another Blu-Ray release of this film soon with all the extras like they did with Terminator 2.

Not really a movie that can ever be compared to Terminator 2 though!

One of the worst films I've ever seen, along with Independence Day. Terrible special effects too. If you want to see a thoughtful well-written movie about environmental/scientific issues, go see Moon - it's out now!

Good price for the Blu-Ray if it's your thing though.
