Picture & sound quality are top notch on this bluray with the worst rating being a 9 out of 10.

When global warming triggers the onset of a new Ice Age, tornadoes flatten Los Angeles, a tidal wave engulfs New York City and the entire Northern Hemisphere begins to freeze solid. Now, climatologist Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid), his son Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal) and a small band of survivors must ride out the growing superstorm to stay alive in the face of an enemy more powerful and relentless than any they've ever encountered....Mother Nature!

I already own this & it's a HD show piece.

Love this film - it is trying so hard, but ends up being very unintentionally funny .

i've really gotta resist....my bird would kill me if i get anymore blu-rays this month lol

It certainly is a stunner on BD. More so if you have the equipment to play DTS HD MA sound too.

I recently bought this from BlahDVD.com on their 2 for £18 deal. Good if there's another one you want as well (I got Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within).

Most movies have at least one 'goof' in them! It's fiction - just enjoy for what it is :-D

One goof?! :?

Take a look at imdb - this film has probably the longest list of goofs and errors I have ever seen

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319262/goofs

Complete rubbish, but very entertaining rubbish

My favourite moment - the entire NYC freezes suddenly, apart from the room the kids are in, - Why? Because they have some furniture pushed against the doors, and a fire going.............:w00t:

I would just take it for what it is - something to watch for entertainment purposes.

You really could waste a great deal of your life by scrutinizing movie goofs. Sometimes, it's impossible not to, but others its best to just turn off the grey matter and enjoy the eye candy :-D

Heat added for this and your Master and Commander post

Guessing both could be reduced to
£9.98 at Amazon in its 3 for 2 offer
by Monday if trends continue,
so I might wait to see

Totally agree - I loved watching this film, really enjoyed it, but you have to agree that it is really, really stoopid :-D
