Cops or criminals; when you're facing a loaded gun what's the difference?

A big-budget Hollywood star power remake of the Hong Kong classic crime thriller Infernal Affairs.

Two men operate on different sides of the law; one a mole with the Boston State Police department, the other within the Irish mafia. When bloodshed breaks out on the streets, each mole is despatched to discover the other's identity in a race against time...

Marty finally collected the Best Director statuette at the 2007 Oscars after decades of bad luck. Not only that but the Departed also picked up awards for Best Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best film!

Can't understand why people rate this movie. One of Scorses's worst imo. Who won the Oscar for worst Oirish accent, I can't remember?

If you haven't seen the movie, let me save you £2.99:

First half of the movie: Marky Mark (possibly trying to be the new Al Pachino) shouts a lot, then bizzarely disappears.
Next half of the movie: Jack Nickelson does the worst Irish accent, ever. (I mean really, I'm surprised he didn't put on a lepricorn suit and start shouting 'Lucky Charms!')
Somewhere in between: The most pathetic female acting performance of all time occurs.
Last minute, Marky Mark bizzarely reappears, minus shouting, and conveniently finishes a ridiculous killing spree.

It's awful, truely awful, but morons seem to love it! ;)

Who's Anthony Lane?

'Pent up anger', quite the opposite, as you can see I am more than happy to release all my feelings without holding back! Very therapeutic, you should try it. ;-)
