Pay more for less? There is DLC included in this GOTY edition!

Trust me anorak boy, nobody will notice that the case of one of your games looks a bit cheap and think anything bad about you. Only you will know, so it's possibly a low self esteem issue here!

The number of people who post on here that they won't buy PS3 platinum games because the box doesn't look cool enough is a shocking reflection of how pathetic gaming has become to some! They can send it to me in a tesco value cornflakes box as long as the price is right and the game works.

Non-Platinum games also have a higher resale value

Yes, for the same pathetic reason!

I'm playing this at the moment. Be prepared to run/swim for miles to get where you need to go. Unlike other games where you go straight from one scene to the next, on this you have to do the whole journey (on foot so far!)

Same price at Gamestation + quidco !

But once you have been to a location you can fast travel to it in future. Or buy a horse.

This game got me in trouble with the missus for the amount of time I spent on it. :-D

Many thanks. Just ordered. Been looking for this for under a tenner for a while.

Heat and rep added.

Lol you are aware you can jump from place to place once you have visited it? This game is awesome, be careful though it's easy to rack up 100+ hours.

Here's forever longing for a sequel. The best open world game i've played possibly, GTA San Andreas vies for the title.
#13
this game eats your spare time - i'm 300 hours in and haven't even touched the shivering isles bit yet.
as for going from place to place, it's the exploring that lets you find undiscovered dungeons.
it comes down to, either you like this style of game or you don't - if dungeon crawling bores you, you need to play something else.
if you like role playing games, this is phenomenal
#14
I'd so get this game, if only I could transfer my pc save in some way! (Do you continue your profile with shivering isles, or do you have to make a whole new profile?)
#15
you can do the shivering isles bit whenver you fancy - right at the start of a game if you wanted or last thing
#16
About the best game ever for me, so much so that got this version a few weeks ago (paid £2 more!) even after spending 150+ hours on it on my PC.

Not sure about the complaints on the package, if you buy it for £10 how much resale value are you expecting anyway?
#17
I'm not sure this game is really going to be for me but I've just ordered it regardless. :)

Fatal mistake. You'll be sucked in and spat out sometime around November, 2011.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful game. Trying to think of a better use of £10......

This Is Only £9.47 At Tesco Entertainment !
#21
anything close to this price for the 360 version?

so is that a good thing or bad?

You only ever have to find a location ONCE. Once it says something like "You have found: Chorrol", just hit circle, world map and you can quick travel to it aslong as you are not in an interior or dungeon.

This is the 4th time I've bought this game now:-D
I've always wanted to play it, I buy it cheapish then can't be arsed with putting in the hours on it. I've got out of that cellar affair and thats about it, here goes another attempt!

Wow you really dont like people who dont like things that they dont like :-D

I love this game, but just be cautious, there is a glitch in the game where if you become a vampire you can't cure it, thus being damned with the curse forever (this glitch occurs only on the GOTY edition and not the normal version)
#26
i had that glitch - you just need to switch to german at that point and all becomes well.
