Great game and a informative review (and video review) here if you are new to it: http://uk.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/theelderscrollsivoblivion/review.html

I'd get it if I didn't have it already!

Simply Brilliant. But get ready to loose several days of your life playing it. Essential play if you like PRG !
#15
They were doing a special on the expansion pack on live. I got it for half price :)
Well worth it.
#16
Worth every penny.
#17
When you see top games like this at this sort of price you wonder why ms dont do an rpg hardware bundle cheap with mass effect as well. Would sell **** loads over here and in the states.

Probably dont want to affect sales of Fable 2 its selling that well.
#18
probly the best game on the console
#19
good game well worth it
#20
I may well order this tonight!
#21
ordered, thanks
#22
Is it SERIOUSLY that good?!?!?
#23
class game great value for money it lasts for a very very long time. I think ive clocked around 80hrs and not even done half the story yet
#24
I finished this last week, 170hrs to get 1000 Gamerpoints. An excellent game, but did get a bit repetitive towards the end. Nevertheless, highly recommended at £10.
#25
This is a very ambitious game and it almost pulls off the ambition. A truly excellent game. Fallout 3 is like Oblivion with guns, I much prefer Oblivion though and it has much more hours of game play than Fallout 3.
#26
I first got Oblivion when it was initially released. I clocked up over 180 hours and I had to share it with the wife in 4 hour increments. I traded it in and wished I hadn't - at this price it's a steal.

Is it that good? - hell yes. Even if you're not into RPGs, there's enough FPS action to keep you going.
#27
Even at this price i'd still have to recomment the PC version due to all the mods. I played it "again" using the "The Popehat Oblivion Omods Project" which has most of the best mods in one simply download (info here: http://www.poopmods.com it's a 3.4GB download) it's not a self install though, you'll need at lease one hour to install it yourself.

Although if this would be the first time you've play Oblivion and have a low spec pc (I have a ATI 1950XT, E6750 dual core (2.66 GHZ) & 2GB... If my GFX card had 512mb and not 256mb... that'd be a bonus, although this set up gets me 30+ fps which is enough to play) buy this xbox 360 version.

All gone

Yeah lets buy pc version when I own an xbox 360 and no PC :whistling:

Not everyone has a pc and those that do not have desktop with £200 gfx card at least have a laptop with built in gfx and 512 meg ram lol no chance.
#31
The only criticism I had of this game was that the world beyond the Oblivion gates was a little samey and made me wish I had done them every now and again rather than leaving the gates till nearer the end of my play.

Hello Mr Clown master

Although if this would be the first time you've play Oblivion or have a low spec pc

Oh look... I quoted something which relates to "common sense"; "if this is the first time you've played it "or" you have a low spec pc "or" (sorry this is the part I missed out) you don't have a pc, which wouldn't matter if the pc you had was low spec... get the 360 version. But if you were too late to get this for £10 you could find someone elses post to flame because your emotions are too much to handle for yourself... *hugz*... omg... did I just open a magical 500 ml can of whoop ass on ya? :w00t:

PS my GFX card cost £100 English pounds one and a half years ago, do the math and guess how much it would be worth today
#33
Grow Up lol 500 ml can : lmao

English Pounds You Say and you got a bargain then for your sapphire 1950xt for 1 and a half years ago.

36.99 at minute on ebay and 50 and 81 at google shopping
#34
Yes it was a pretty good price at the time, brought it off ebay... didn't come with the box though... and the box adds value to an item. £37 off ebay? That's impressive... even more so with £50 (brand new). No need for DX10 at the moment due to the limited amount of games. I'll wait till there's at lease 50+ games (there's only 19 at the moment and only ten more comfirmed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_with_DirectX_10_support ) because it seems daft to waste money on something which limited compatible, I have Devil May Cry 4 on the PC already, that be nice to see in DX10.

GFX cards on PC's are the biggest con going I paid £328 in 2001 may have been early 2002 for an as v8800 or v8220 deluxe with VR glasses LOL its worth £5 now If even that
I have a couple of sapphire 1950xt I bought for £88 or £112 each last year was going to run in crossfire mode but they use the crappiest method to do this out of the 3 options and I only got a slight improvement in sli and they are just so big in case

asus £328 gfx card from 2001-2002 http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/9458/asus1rv9.jpg

my 1950xt

1 Card

These tests were done about 1 year ago for another forum /friend who wanted to see stuff

I prefer my consoles for games then at least you know that when they release games you can play em without too much slowdown. Yeah PC levels can go on forever HD space etc I just prefer my games machines for games and PC for the rest of stuff I like to do.
#36
Ouch... crossfire marks are pathetic on that one. I've always stook to the one card, there was talk with many issues on games while using SLI/Crossfire... so I never bothered myself. I could buy a modem card from the auction I go too... although it would be sold as seen, so if I can't test it... what's the point? It's understandable why yourself prefer consoles (I like them just as much as my pc) although when I can use my 360 controller on games which are also out for the 360, and I can get the 1660x 1050 res I get... I got to stick to the pc myself.
#37
Game is back in stock at this price - mod should unexpire it
banned#38
Unexpire please, I've just ordered it at £9.99 from there.
#39
Looks like it's expired again, unless they have just run out of stock (if they get more in, I might have to spend MORE money grr...)
