These two brothers from Kentucky are the bridge between the assorted familial harmonisers of the country radio show era and the rock & roll of the '60s. Their sterling singing adapted well to the changing styles of four different decades. They were in on the first flush of the rock & roll era in the mid-'50s, and their mix of country, pop, and rock & roll provided some of the shining moments of the early '60s, a largely fallow time for pop music. In the late '60s/early '70s, their style was a natural fit for the burgeoning country-rock movement. After a mid-'70s break-up, the duo reunited in the '80s and continued performing together into the 21st century.

Same for me, still hot at that price though.
Fantastic collection of songs, the production may sound dated to some but if you're interested in songwriting or harmonies this is unbelievable value.

How could a collection this size not include "Let It Be Me" , their first New York song -
that said, even though I have all these tunes - fantasic price, I'm in. :-D

More H+R added (like the guy needs it)

No "wake up little Suzie" either? or did I miss it.
Ordered for Mum's birthday. Thanks!
