I bought the 'Tokyo Drift' one last week - not particularly interested in these films, but was curious whether it at least looked good. And it does! Such great scenery and colours, so worth it for that one. And I did enjoy the film - file under Guilty Pleasures.

Just as well I did get it - £3.99 at HMV - as it's gone up to £17.99 there now!

Oh - it's actually a little cheaper to buy them separately:

Fast & Furious - £2.99 at HMV
2 Fast 2 Furious - £3.99 at HMV
Tokyo Drift - £4.98 at Gamestation

Total: £11.96

There is that, yeah. :)

The boxset also carries enhanced Dolby, DTS 5.1 surround which the individual ones don't (only Dolby 2.0) - great for a surround sound setup.

Just had a look at my Tokyo Drift one - Dolby Digital Plus, which is compatible with up to a 7.1 setup. So a step above DTS 5.1. :)

EDIT: In fact, a quick Google shows they all have Dolby Digital Plus, individually or in the boxset.

yeah cant see any of the film sound content being any different, just literally in a box together!

I can't imagine an HD-DVD being released with a 2.0 soundtrack, personally! :w00t:

I'll stick with the box for £1 more and from 1 retailer I think.

Just noticed Gamestation have Tokyo Drift by itself for £4.98, so the individual price goes down to £11.96 for all three from them & HMV - only two retailers.

But still, nice to have a slipcase!

Lol, same reason I bought it and yes looked great. Good as a reference disc when people come round and say 'how good is this hd stuff anyway?'

The first scene in the car park with all the cars and girls dancing in slo-mo...looks amazing! Such bright colours everywhere. And all the neon of Tokyo at night looks fantastic.
