The Festive Selection Alcohol-Free Hamper in Lidded Seagrass basket £15 @ John Lewis - was £40

Not worth £40 in my opinion-but well worth £18 with the basket & posh nibbles.

Comes in a Open-weave lidded red seagrass basket 32 x 28 x 15cm

Featuring a refreshing cranberry and orange aperitif and an indulgent, alcohol-free Christmas pudding.

Still works out at £2 an item, and most of those items you would not give a £1 for
Box of 3 mince pies
Small bar of chocolate
Packet of Cashew Nuts (quite small)
Couple of small packets of sweets
Cranberry sauce
Jar of Jam
I think it still needs another fiver off at least

You forget the cost of the basket too - i would no way spend £40 on it - but it will make a lovely treat for the weekend when the kids are in bed - some posh goodies instead of tesco - and a lovely new basket for the kids toys too - all for £18 without me having to lug it anywhere - bargain for me:thumbsup:
