In 1964 The Beatles launched the "British Invasion" of the USA with performances on the Ed Sullivan Show. Such was the anticipation for the first of their four appearances that a record 73,000,000 viewers tuned in for the Sunday night show from New York. This special double DVD package contains the four complete Ed Sullivan Shows on which The Beatles performed live. These were to be the only live performances they ever did for American TV and the last they ever did anywhere in the world. Such was their impact, that a couple of months later in April 1964 The Beatles held all of the top 5 spots in the US singles chart, a feat that has never been repeated.
