problem with this is that they are charging you £7.50 for postage (for a voucher?!?!?)
still a great price but rip off on postage spoils it a bit:?

1st class is £1.95

Don't all of these "gifts" result in high pressure to spend more, eg on paintballs or prints?

Avoid - give proper gifts instead!

Workid...dead right they do!! Paintball's an example...you have to cough up at £10 per 100 balls....whereas you'd pay £5 per 100 for normal paintball sessions...anyone will get through minimum 500 paintballs...so you pay at least £25 over the odds!!...and if you pay on the day...add another £1.50 per 100...TOTAL RIP-OFF!!

As for the photoshoots...at best they'll be done by some jobbing tog ...and you have to cough up a £20 deposit!!! + £5 for them to post your pathetic little 7"x5" snapshot to you....and endure loads of pressure while they try and flog you a boatload of over priced pics!!

If those are someone's ideas of giving gifts.....I 'd suggest it's a quick way to lose friends!!

The salon has the right to choose the level of therapist who will carry out the service as well as the day of the week that you can take up the offer

and whats the catch with the haircuts then ? Bearing in mind my local stylist is approx 1.8 miles away and prices for a cut n blow dry from a junior stylist will usually cost you upwards of £17 .........

Come up with a valid negative on this and for sure you will have justified your cold vote , i'll reserve judgement until your reply as I am thinking £5 for a min £17 haircut is a GREAT deal and am desperate to find the catch with this deal before i go ahead and buy several of these at this amazing price !!

I tried that already, but the hair cuts are already "exceptional value" and the voucher doesn't work ;-)

Do the vouchers have an expiry date?

"Any additional services taken up will be charged at normal rate by the salon. The salon has the right to choose the level of technician who will carry out the service as well as the day of the week that the reader can take up the offer"

i.e. you'll get their lowest level trainee at the slowest time of the week for them and they'll bug you to buy extra crap while you're there.

Quite happy to go any time for that price and I think I can just about hold my own against some trainee trying to sell me anything!

Great deal thanks a lot...also got the £5 vochure by recommending myself and hubby (on his two email accounts).

Cranford, £10 is standard. I just wait till we go to Hounslow and get it for a fiver there, loads of shops there at that price. Me and the boys sorted for £15 - as opposed to £30 locally.

Good deal, but won't bother with the haircuts!
