The International on Blu-Ray is currently £12.97 in Store @ Tesco (film of the week). I have seen it at this price at two stores so assume it must be nationwide (Llanelli and Carmarthen stores). Interestingly the normal DVD is actually at a higher price of £13.97!!!
This has to be a first for a brand new film release.

n.b This deal is not available online at Tesco Direct where the price is £16.77

Film info from IMDb:
User Rating: 6.7/10

In The International, Interpol Agent Louis Salinger and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman are determined to bring to justice one of the world's most powerful banks. Uncovering illegal activities including money laundering, arms trading, and the destabilization of governments, Salinger and Whitman's investigation takes them from Berlin to Milan to New York and to Istanbul. Finding themselves in a high-stakes chase across the globe, their relentless tenacity puts their own lives at risk as the bank will stop at nothing - even murder - to continue financing terror and war.

Blu-Ray quality review:

"The International crashes on to UK Blu-ray with a stunning 1080p AVC/MPEG-4 transfer framed at 2.40:1. It has an image that will be remembered for its great clarity, sharpness and overall good looks."

This film has to be the most boring, worst written and poorly acted I have seen in quite a while. It really was very surprising in how boring it was.

I personally wouldn't accept this if someone gave it to me for free.

Agreed. Not Clive Owen's greatest work... but the writer / director etc... should rethink their tactics too. This was absolutely rubbish. One good scene where there's a lengthy shootout but that's it. Was most disappointed.

Definitely not Tykwer's Best (Princess and The Warrior) but I thought it was decent. Clive Owen should have been Bond.
