I find this program very funny, I know some people will disagree though!
Seems a good price, next cheapest i can find is £5 more.
From product description...
"The brand new sitcom written by Graham Linehan (Father Ted, Black Books) and produced by Ash Atalla (The Office), The IT Crowd centres on the worlds of Roy, Moss and Jen who make up the IT department of Reynholm Industries. While their social betters work upstairs in fantastic surroundings, the IT dept. work in a horrible dark basement underneath it all...

The IT Crowd will strike a chord with everyone who dreads getting stuck in a corner with the IT boys at the office party or who's ever phoned their IT deptartment only to be asked 'Have you tried turning it off and on again?'

Filmed on location and in front of a live studio audience, The IT Crowd is a surreal look at the underclass of a company."

One of my most favourite shows EVER. :-D

Thought it was going to be a very geeky show when the adverts started for the first series.
But found it very funny, especially the second series:giggle:

Quoted for supreme truth!!

The first series was best, about half of the second series was great, the rest was a bit iffy.

This is a great price - I paid £15.99 for series two on its own the other week (luckily using up WH Smith Clubcard points!)

:giggle: Have to love it :giggle:

I'm not sure whether I managed to actually see all of the first series (I know I definitely didn't see any of the second series), I'll have to make a note to get this at some point though.

Voted cold as you can download this for FREE from Channel 4 On demand. Not DVD quality but these are only worth watching once.

Which you can only access if you have a PC/IE and have to watch within a month of downloading and cannot keep. Voted HOT as definitely worth watching more than once and the extras are worth checking out too.

voted cold as im an idiot and everyone has 4 on demand and nobody has a DVD player and stuff.. or something.
#20
Love it, if only i hadn't acquired it by... other means.

There are 'WAYS' to keeping it and everything else on these on demand services, but I can't discuss that here. Beside the fact you can watch this for free I still think it's expensive for 2 seasons or 16 episodes. You can get 6 seasons of men behaving badly for £14.99!

Yes, but this was only released a matter of weeks ago, and Men Behaving Badly, aside from being one of the worst sitcoms of all time, has been available for years.

Your reasoning for not liking this deal is retarded.

"The IT Crowd will strike a chord with everyone who dreads getting stuck in a corner with the IT boys at the office party or who's ever phoned their IT deptartment only to be asked 'Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Speaking as an IT person myself, I can safely say that us IT folk dread going to the office party and getting stuck in a corner with someone rambling on about a computer problem they are having. Contrary to popular belief, we don't all live to fix other folks' problems - quite the opposite, in fact (as demonstrated by this show) :)

As for the off/on again thing... I tend to liken it to "If you go out to your car, turn the key in the ignition and it doesn't start first time - what would you do? A. Immediately call out the AA/RAC/whoever, or B. Try it again?" :)

As for the show itself, I only saw the first series and it was kind of alright.. Nowhere near as good as Father Ted, but harmless Friday night "couple of sniffters of port" entertainment...

As for the replies here about voting it cold because you can download it.. Why not go the whole hog and vote every TV series DVD cold because you could record them while they were on TV? Tch!

Toodles!
