I'd be tempted if it could be confirmed that this is a steelbook, the last The Definitive Edition dvd I ordered came in a normal case.

Either way good price
good price, but poor film; an insult to the "graphic novel" they claim it's based on.
was rubbish
yeah, the film is pretty abysmal.

it's not often i agree with alan moore's hatred of films based on his work (V for Vendetta, From Hell and Watchmen are all pretty good imo) but this was a total mess.

still, if you like the film for some bizarre reason, less than 3 quid can't be a bad price.
Rubbish movie - but heat added.....
It's not THAT bad - and as a pressie for someone the price is pretty good!
Price is amazing, I doupt it is a silver tin back.... I thought the film was good including the special effects.. But I never read the book so I can understand if it did not live up to the expecations :D
i read on amazon that all fox films (definitive editions) are now regular cases
A poor film, but Sean Connery is pretty awesome in it.
Apparently the Def Edition is also missing the dts audio track present on the earlier versions for those that are interested in such things.
good price, poor film tho really, expected alot better
I agree with most people's comments here. If you HAD to buy it, it's a good price, but the film itself is disappointing. So many of the great characters are poorly acted or have a bare minimal of screen time.
Don't know if it ever occurred to Hollywood to make an animated film - might have saved it. I'm not sure every comic book translates well to a live action movie, but maybe no-one's interest in 2D cartoon films any more.
Am I the only one, who actually enjoyed this movie? :-D
Is this any longer than the normal film or just extra rubbish on another disc?
