BRILLIANT. Means a new, more powerful emu for people to inject n64 roms into :D

The top shot isn't from majoras mask, but a high quality texture pack you can use on pc emus.

This game was incredible. I think I need to play it again. It's been ten years.

Is this a hot deal then? Or just some news...

i'm in the middle with this. its a great game for sure but i think all wii shop games are over priced. knock this down to £4 and you'd sell loads! you'd probably only make the same profit as at £7 but you'd have thousands more happy customers!

i personally got it for £7, £5 console & £2 game at a car boot!
#5
Hasn't this been available for a while and has always been 1000 points, the console and game for £7 at car boot looks like a steal though
#6
might have to expire this as from today (so i've heard) the price is £10 for 1000 points! they are getting even more money grabbing!

Both. Plus a lot of other people have posted other downloadable game deals on Xbox Live, Steam etc on here, so I thought "why not"

Nope, it was revealed and released last night. Ocarina of Time is the 3D Zelda game that's been available for a while.

Hope that's not true, but then again these new 2000 Nintendo points cards do seem to be selling at £17.99 instead of £14.99 like the old Wii points.

Also, I'm sure a lot of people allready have some points on their accounts, ready to spend. ;-)

Yikes - just seen the new cards at Shopto on preorder - the money hungry swines! Damn you Nintendo. :x

£19.99 for 2000 points (RRP £21.99!!!!) http://www.shopto.net/WII/GAMES/WIIOF04-Official%20Nintendo%202000%20Points%20Card.html

Best snap up the old cards whilst they are still doing the rounds.............

Best current price I can see is BlahDVD - £13.49 for 2000 points, making an N64 game £6.75

BTW, this is a great game, and a definate must play if you haven't already (just hope they have sorted out the emulator issues from the GC port)

EDIT: Wii point prices seem to still be £7 for 1000 on the Wii Shop channel. Worth keeping an eye on though, they might sneak a price increase in there............

WHAT?

You joking right these things are hard to get.

I have a proper copy here but can't get a cheap expansion pack anywhere.

Your looking between £30-40 anywhere.

You get it at a carboot I will buy it off you.

I know they're not cheap as I bought one a while back, but they're not £30-40. Hope this helps.

True - an expansion pak should be a tenner on less on fleabay. You could even get a new console with one fitted for around £15/£20 on there.

Exactly, 7 pounds is silly. They are making pretty much 100% profit as far as I am concerned. 1 pound would be a good price.

Great deal - been after this for the kids. HOT from me :).

I've got this on my gamecube but didn't like it, I much prefer Ocarina of Time!
Personally I'd pick up the Legend Of Zelda: Collector's Edition instead, it's a gamecube disk, so works on the Wii and includes:
Zelda 1
Zelda 2
Zelda Ocarina of Time
Zelda Ocarina of Time Master Quest
Zelda Majora's Mask

All on one disk.

Quite a lot on ebay for around £5-10:

I got mine for free as part of the Nintendo Promo.

Oh thats interesting, im gonna get that instead, cheers

Just checked the VC shop and 1000 pts on there still come in at £7, so obviously this price change is only in effect for physical cards - what are nintendo thinking by doing this? Do they WANT to sell any?
#21
Recommend the Zelda gamecube disk above. I got mine free with Mariokart on the GC (even better value for money as you get that game as well as the Zeldas!) and it's great!

Can't go wrong with most zeldas on one disk. It's sadly missing Zelda : A Link To The Past. But still bloody great as you get the 2 N64 ones, plus master quest version...

I adore Zelda games - always have, probaby always will...My fave RPG's :-D

I disagree, Ocarina of time is better only because it was the first, this game is simply a longer, more challenging and quirky extension to it. It's pure genius and worth seven quid anyday, expecially when people are wasting money on carnival games and samba de amigo and **** like this

This always baffles me. People think old game prices should wither away to nothing over the years, eventually a point where old games get mothballed because 'they look so primitive, man'; but are quite prepared to pay for old music albums from a shop that are still being pressed many decades later.

A good game remains a good game. £7 will always be a bargain for such gems.
#25
Zelda limited collector's edition (goes for about £20 on ebay - sold mine a few months back!) has this plus LoZ, AoL and Ocarina of Time

This is good if you don't have an emulated version with a zelda disk already. Am i right in thinking this was full of bugs at the time of release though?

I thought the gold wind waker disk had master quest on, not majora's mask?
#26
i only got 700 points atm, i use the nintendo star points cards and exchange them for wii points, hmm..just need to make another 300 now..would love to d/l this

This game was amazing,

Heavily overlooked since it was launched so late in the N64s life.

True - to those moaners complaining about paying £7 for this classic - Nintendo probably didn't make a lot on this on release, due to the big Sony monster gobbling up the console market at the time. All the money changing hands on this title now is on pre-owned copies - you can't blame them for wanting to get paid.:)
#29
How is this a deal? It's a re-release of an ancient game being sold at RRP.
banned#30
still worth getting those surely for £7!!!
#31
Hot- Been waiting for this since the wii came out.
#32
I take the point about this not being a deal as it's ancient and it's not that cheap either.

However, I see this as a deal because of how good it is - then AND now. I had it on cart for the N64, then got it for a fiver on the ltd edition disc for the Gamecube which is still probably the best way to get it if you can. So I don't see this as a standard take 'yer money (again) for old rope' that many of the online points games are, but very much as a great way of playing an excellent game on a console that you don't have to dig out of the loft to play!

Oh, and out of all the zelda's this in my mind is up there with ocarina. Heated up!.

Its worth taking a look inside n64s as most people don't know if the pack is inside and quite often it is.
And mine I paid £15 including 2 controllers both zeldas both pokemon stadiums including the gameboy pack with the 1st one 007 goldeneye, mario kart 64 and super mario 64

This game is superb. I also have the Zelda Collectors Edition game. In ways it was actually superior to Ocarina of Time in my opinion.

£7 for a download is not a good deal, you dont even get a hard copy, they are ripping people off with this imo.

Downloads which are a rip off are the one's where people pay cash for diffrent costumes for their in-game characters, extra items and extra songs for games.

Here you get a full game, which is a classic, which has a good 20 hours worth of gameplay with plenty of side-quests, a story and plenty of replay value.

consider the fact that they were giving that plus ocarina of time and other zelda games away free on a disk and you wont think its such a good deal
