lol..thanks.

I always see this holding a higher price along with Mario galaxy on the Wii. Hopefully someone will make use.

Don't shoot the messenger.....well, if its crap then shoot away!!! I can take it!!!!
#4
There high price will be because of people needing this to install homebrew. It might start to drop now that bannerbomb doesn't need it.
#5
yeay just ordered last one in Bournemouth ( post office rd ) my lucky day with argos

WOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW your deal is on fire!!

Great price? For a game thats been out for almost 2 years?

I dont think so.

Like COD4 this game should be investigated by trading standards for price fixing because it should be in the bargain bin for a fiver by now.

You been taking something. Why should they be in the bargain bin if they still top sellers, you only adjust the price if they don't sell.:?

most rediculous thing i've ever heard on here even worse than someone saying a ps3 is better than an xbox 360 lol

Why would a company lower the price of their game when it is still selling like hot cakes everywhere doesnt make sense at all lol.

About what? The fact that a Gamecube game (and thats what it is) is still selling for more money than you can buy the console for nowadays? I think not.

And you called my statement the most ridiculous thing you had ever heard? Touche.

Its not just this game. As I said COD4 is just as bad and on the back of that IW decided that they would profiteer nicely on MW2 by charging £54.99 retail for it.

If you act like a mug they will rape you like one.

Digging a hole here.

But to give an unjustified response, this deal is for the wii version (as you know regardless of our use of parentheses), the Gamecube version due to the fact its rarer and nostalgic value will be more expensive, the price hasn't depreciated due to a basic concept of supply and demand and price elasticity, like COD 4 it's a quality game without competitors they can and deserve to charge as much as they want. A good deal does not depend upon price vs age, its price vs current market.

In theory it should be much lower as it's been out so long but as it's still a top seller and holds it's price and this is the cheapest around it's therefore a "hot deal". Bargain bin games are usually crap, hence why they end up in the bargain bin, this is not the case with this, and Mario Galaxy & Mario Kart etc.

HA, what would you expect trading standard to do? Do you believe there is some law that says games must be placed into a bargain bin after a certain time. Trading standards have nothing to do with this and I don't see how you think they could.

Great game. Good price. Don't you need this for the soft mod? another reason why this is a good price.

Oh dear.

I didnt mean it LITERALLY.

Even when you have an issue they should be involved in they are crap and rarely work to your advantage because this country is terrified of giving the consumer any real rights over what they spend their money on.

Pricing of games is on the whole, sensible (if you have the internet and thanks to sites like HUKD) but I see the pricing of MW2 and its blatant profiteering because it costs no more to manufacture than a regular game does.
#21
voted hot as it best price around i seen :)

Also i do agree with Ev0lution very valid points tbh about certain games being price fixed and it is price fixing come on all other top games that still selling well have been reduced to like bargain prices just a few have not ant thats price fixing for sure.

yer take the price of PS3 in this country to other countries lol big difference we pay the most.

MW2 probably has higher manufacturing costs than most - Infinity Ward keep developing new engines for the franchise, and the game will be one of the best releases for a while. I agree some games are overpriced - but like with most things in life the quality of games are dictating prices. 2 year old Ford Focuses aren't the same price as 2 year old Bentley's (small hyperbole) but you get the point. If higher prices are gonna result in decent games like COD 4, Twilight Princess as opposed to a load of old tosh like Film games, old ports and rereleases and rebranded sports games I don't mind.

Voted hot , top selling game that can be used to install homebrew on earlier models which is secretly why its price is probably stil high plus if you can "get into it" it is a decent enough game .

The price thing , well the majority of games are overpriced , printed on 5p dvds or downloaded via apps like steam for the pc and making massive profits and then dropping all support (L4D anyone )should be more of an issue than an old game that has a secondary purpose.
#24
This game has had more demand than supply so thats why price is still quite high.

All about supply meets demand. eBay is a good place of showing this and curent situation with products.

Like when wii's were sold on eBay for £250+

I bought this game a few months back for £17 second hand, Installed homebrew and sold it on ebay for £26!!"

Its not needed anymore-prices will plummet
Zelda remains the only Wii game I ever paid for.

Hi all, if anyone wants it and can get to Parkhead Forge Glasgow before COP Friday 14th then PM me.
I have a reservation number that I no longer require :) Cheers.

This game is incredible.
I would happily pay £40 for this, and I never pay RRP for video games, but I would make an exception for this beauty.

£20 for such a stellar game is a steal, regardless of its age or other such nonsense.

Fair play to IW they have made a game that has remained popular since its day of release and is just as popular possibly more than COD WAW, WAW usually beats it when new map packs are released, but it pales in comparison.

And when do we ever pay retail on these bigs games?? Dont think i have ever paid RRP on an xbox 360 game, shops are always doing deals against each other, sure its £42.99 on shopto.net.
