Fully expect this to go down in flames but anyway if you know what this is, you'll know this is a good price, next cheapest is £50 but you can find it for anything up to £100

Cheaper than my Xai :3
I think it's worth spending money on mice and keyboards, they're actually very good value when you take into account the amount of usage you get out of them and the price relative to the cost of a game.

Best price i've seen for the G9X.

Would have been tempted by another gaming mouse. Although my trusty MX518 is trotting along nicely still...

It'd have to "go down in ice" on this site, surely? :D

Hmm. The price is low now because Logitech are refreshing their headset/keyboard/mouse set of gaming peripherals:

I have to say MBeeching, you do make some sensible, level-headed posts, good to see someone rising above these comments for once and not getting anatagonised!

You can't go wrong with Logitech, I've had my G5 for several years now and it's been worth it. Their excellent support is worth a mention also if anything goes wrong, which is doubtful.

You can't go wrong with Logitech, I've had my G7 for several years now and it's been worth it. Their excellent support is worth a mention also if anything goes wrong, which is doubtful.

Have to agree here,my G5 broke after 4 years of heavy use, phoned Logitech & even though it had no warranty left they sent me a shiny new G500. Top quality all round

I have to add my bit about their support, i was given a headset last christmas and 2 months ago it broke. I emailed them and told them what i had done to rectify it (tried it in another pc etc) and although i had no receipt they sent me out another one. I didn't even have to send the broken one back.

That said the build quality of their headsets in particular is shocking.

Great mouse, heat added

Hmm im tempting, not quite sure if im ready to make the switch over from razor yet though. Heard many good things about the G mice series and I love my G15 keyboard more than any other keyboard I've ever owned.
If you are serious saying that £45 is expensive for a mouse, then too bad. Stick to your £5 bargain bucket 200dpi mouse lol.

Haven't tried this myself, my G5 is epic though and only cost £25

Can't edit my previous post for some reason but anyway - if you require precision or are into gaming then this mouse is likely worth it although I'd be tempted to go with a G5 if you can find one at a reasonable price
#19
I have two G9's, one for Desktop (with the G15) and one for the gaming laptop and I swear by them. Hugely ergonomic to my hand and precision like I have not experienced with any other mouse. Not only good for gaming but for CAD/Photoshop as well.

If you think this is too expensive it is not for you, this is for a serious gamer, not Joe bloggs who wants too search google. I have found the addition productivity useful as an added bonus though.

If you want a cheap alternative there's this: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/7976590/Gigabyte-GM-M6880-Gaming-Laser-USB-Mouse-Black/Product.html

If you want something that will last for years, get a Logitech. My G5 is six years old and looking pretty much the same as when I got it.

Who are you to judge?

I generally dislike Logitech mice but I've been pleased with the G9 which I bagged for a tenner from Dell as a system addon, it's comfortable to use, tracks extremely well and can be easily customised with different shapes and even weights. Even for non-gaming mouse it's very useful and I wouldn't hesitate to fork out for another one if needed.
