I see this was available at an online store for £1 not too long ago but current lowest online price, according to www.find-dvd.co.uk, is £2.95 from Foxy.

Arg, can someone edit the description to read £1? Thanks

I don't like that version of the film. The musical one was far more entertaining.

I had no idea this was a different version...!

EDIT: Yep, says on the black filmed in black and white! :( I thought there was only one version - with the guy from Ghostbusters 2/Honey I shrunk the kids in it!

I had no idea there was more than one version either.

Well, that's saved me a trip to the city centre, at least

This version is worth a quid as long as you're not expecting the musical. About 5-seconds with google will find a version you can watch on your PC if you're really that concerned you won't like it and will have wasted a whole 100 pennies. :p

When you put it like that it sounds so much! I don't want to loose 100 of anything!

I watched this a couple of years after the musical version and at the time I really liked seeing where Steve Martin had took his cues from Jack Nicholson ......and lets not forget it's from the late great Roger Corman who went on to make a cracking telling of The Pit And The Pendulum a year later with Vincent Price which might not have happened but for TLSOH

Well, I paid 100 pennies for it so I'll be watching it!
