Tempting, but includes disc changes iirc, might wait on blu for this. Great deal meantime though. Hot.

The disc changing gives a natural toilet break point. Its actually an added feature

Seems like a good deal. For anyone waiting on the blu ray here's some news >

It will no doubt take ages for the blue ray to come out. They will go through the same marketing as before to maximise their income. Theatrical versions individually, then as a box set, then as a box set with a model of frodo or gollum, then the extended editions individually, then as a box set, then with a model, and on and on and on.

That's a really good price for an excellent boxset; heat added.

While there is enough space available on a single 50 GB Blu-ray disc to store any of the LOTR movies in their extended format, the studio may decide to include additional audio tracks, video commentaries, extras etc all in HD and on the one disc, therefore requiring the movie to be spread across two discs; this would also mean they could market the boxset as containing lots of discs, which they always try maintain is a great deal, and in turn charge more money than if the movies were on one disc instead.

While I'm looking forward to these movies coming out on Blu-ray, I'm also apprehensive that we'll be screwed by the studio, as NobbyB mentioned, when they release the movies in many different incarnations, just as we saw when they were released on DVD.

Wimp! You're meant to do them back to back, not spread them over a whole weekend!
