Peter Jackson's suitably massive interpretation of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. All three huge, action-packed movies in one box.

The Fellowship Of The Ring: In a time before history, in a place called Middle-earth, a dark and powerful lord has brought together the forces of evil to destroy its cultures and enslave all life caught in his path. Sauron's time has come and he needs only one small object - a Ring that has been lost for centuries - to snuff out the light of civilization and cover the world in darkness.

The Two Towers: The Fellowship has divided and now finds themselves taking different paths to defeating Sauron and his allies. Their destinies now lie at two towers - Orthanc Tower in Isengard, where the corrupted wizard Saruman waits and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dur, deep within the dark lands of Mordor.

The Return Of The King: Members of the fellowship prepare for the final battle of Middle Earth, while Frodo & Sam approach Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring...

Still the only LOTRs set you'd want to own. And for £16. Fantastic with no equals. I remember spending a whole two weeks of evenings one christmas just watching the making of extras. Really makes you appreciate the movies and the effort that went into them.

Always heat from me!

I'd echo that.

I saw this for £15 instore at HMV (Sutton, Surrey) today. Still, 75p for delivery isn't bad!

I think I'm one of those few people who still hasn't seen this (at all). So, I think I'll just wait until the super-dooper blu-ray mega box set arrives- but is less than £15. I may be waiting a few more years......

not a scrap of footage on these that isn't worth watching. unlike every other making-of ever made.
i paid £30 each for these when they were released and then £30 for another set. This is a bargain.

Im really thinking of getting these and have not purchased the blu-ray as it has no extra footage.
Im probably asking a very stupid question but is the extra footage tied in with the films or is it an extra in the menus...
Please be gentle

The film has the extended editions included - just click play and that's what you get. All the making of stuff is on extra discs though ofc :)

Footage on extra disks. I dont have a Bluray player, but if they ever release the extended on BLURAY then I will be buying both.

Its not coming down to 15.98 for me.
It's staying at £17-odd

Edit: eventually did at the fourth attempt.

Had been looking for a deal on this for some time now - but now that I am going to buy a bluray player - will wait for the bluray version!

Great price though - heat and rep added

Not that bothered about BluRay, so have bought it.
Anyways, thought BluRay could play DVds and improved THEIR picture too ?

great deal, but i can't get the discount to apply, using code 10DVD.
When trying again, it says "A discount code has already been applied to your basket." but it stays at £17.75
Any ideas ?
