Top film, bargain price! A little guilt goes a long way... Having not slept for a year lathe operator Trevor Reznick (Christian Bale) is dying of insomnia. Why he can't sleep he can't remember. His every waking minute has become an unrelenting nightmare of confusion paranoia guilt anxiety and terror; each of which is part of an escalating series of clues that will lead him to the source of his mysterious affliction... Method actor Christian Bale who favours total immersion in the roles he plays lost an astonishing 63 pounds from his already lean frame in order to convey the shockingly gaunt physique of the main character. Exhausting in his preparation close to the point of permanent physical damage Bale is the centrepoint of this extraordinary film

Great film. IMO one of Bale's best performances. Its unbelieveable what this man went through to get into the role of the character, how much weight he lost and his whole physical appearance just to play this. Worth seeing just for the shear 'wow look at him' factor. Yes the film is bizarre and quite hard to follow at points, but i thought it was very well done and one of those films that all makes sense at the end if you keep watching. If you havent seen it then do !

Not that quick of a survey really, and don't like how it populates phone number etc in fields hoping you miss them. But free DVD can't be sniffed at
