Titles comprise:

The Matrix: Perception: Mind blowing stunts. Techno-slamming visuals. Megakick action. Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne lead the fight to free humankind in The Matrix, the cyber thriller that you will watch again and again. Written and directed by the Wachowski brothers, the story sears, the special effects stake out new movie-making territory - the movie leaves you breathless.

The Matrix Reloaded: Neo and the leaders of the human resistance discover that Sentinels are burrowing their way towards Zion. Estimating they have perhaps just 72 hours until an all-out assault, Neo must return back into the Matrix and find the keymaker to gain access to the mainframe to ensure human survival...

The Matrix Revolutions: In this final explosive third installment of the Matrix trilogy, the city of Zion, last bastion of the human race, defends itself against the massive invasion of the machines as Neo attempts to fulfill his prophecy as 'The One'. As the Machine Army wages devastation on Zion, its citizens mount an aggressive defense - but can they stave off the relentless swarm of Sentinels long enough for Neo, adrift in a no man's land between the Matrix and the Machine world, to harness the full extent of his powers and end the war?

The Matrix Revisited: Peel back a new layer of reality with a mind-expanding look at The Matrix from conception to phenomenon. Go behind The Matrix, take the Red Pill and follow the White Rabbit with 17 making-of featurettes, including 'What Is Bullet Time?', 'What Is Concept', and 'The Music Revisited'.

The Matrix Reloaded Revisited: Go to the middle movie's furthest reaches via five documentary paths revealing 21 featurettes. Plus 23 extra scenes shot for the 'Enter The Matrix' game.

The Matrix Revolutions Revisited: The cataclysmic final confrontation chronicled through six documentary pods revealing 28 featurettes.

The Roots Of The Matrix: Probe the philosophical and technological inspirations of The Matrix Trilogy through two insightful documentaries - 'Return To Source: Philosophy & The Matrix' and 'The Hard Problem: The Science Behind The Fiction'.

The Burly Man Chronicles: A profiles the 'society' of craftspeople, actors and filmmakers who shaped the movie trilogy.

The Zion Archive: Showcases production assets developed for the universe of The Matrix, including concept artwork, storyboards, drawings, music videos, TV spots and trailers, plus a special preview of 'Matrix Online'.

Which movie? Do you mean the first film? The first was an ok film, the other two in the series were absolute rubbish. Even though I think these films are largely rubbish, a triumph of style over content, this is hot as it's the best price for this item. Only looking at this for some one as a birthday present who has poor taste in films.

In your opinion, of course. I think they're all brilliant.

Great collection, got this a few months back myself cheap. You also get the animatrix (Only the first one is worth watching though). I loved the first movie myself but wasn't keen on the second or the third. That was until I watched them again, I think you have to watch them twice to start appreciating how good they are.

9 Discs... where's disc 10!!

I got the old 10 disc version of this last year. I never understood why they rereleased this minus 1 disc. Go figure!

Anyway, it's still hot IMHO.

At the risk of feeding the troll, you are entitled to not like it, but surely you know that loads of people do, so why are you winding them up? As it goes I agree with you; the first one is alright but I, personally, me, found the other two pretty tedious. The only reason I read this thread is because I have only just watched them and I was curious to know what folk were saying about it. I can't think what they would put on 9 disks to make it interesting to me, but hey, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, and if you like the Matrix and haven't already got it, this price has to be hot. But there are ways of saying that nicely

Definitely my opinion and various others. Not being a troll, I just don't think there's any merit to this series of films in terms of plot, apart from the first film. The second film really stinks, it's full of pretentious psychobabble, and therefore I couldn't bring myself to waste any time on the third. People shouldn't be wound up in anyway by my comments and I really don't mind if they are or aren't. The first film is reasonable the other two really are absolute stinkers. I like the original Star Wars series and in terms of script they stink too so I can imagine that some people will like The Matrix series of films, they lack character though, and they are as wooden as Keanu Reeves at acting (He really is an awful actor, in my opinion, and a lot of others).

In case any one is unsure of my opinion about The Matrix films, you can quote me >

"The first one is passable as a film but the other two stink more than a tramp who has crapped himself for a year and swam in a sewer of evil."

Well its good to know that HUKD users need not bother with IMDB or anywhere else, fishmaster is here to tell us what we like.

Re the wooden-ness, I think you have missed something, the guy is switching between real world and cyber world, I think the plot calls for him to be a bit vacant, what is real, what is not... I know he is no Gielgud but I think he does what is asked of him in these films.

This is me who doesn't particularly like them, just can't stand other people telling us what to like.

Oops. Spot the deliberate mistake.

More extras than the Bluray release - this is a hot deal.

And as for the quality of the movies?
Each to their own but you can't deny that they're cracking good fun from start to finish.
Don't think too hard people - just accept the ride

I only gave my opinion due to the first post in this thread which I disagreed with. He/she was allowed to give their opinion so I gave mine,

He judged the 3rd film without watching it?
