The Matrix Trilogy Blu-ray now £12.98 @ Amazon

As expected Amazon have now dropped their price on The Matrix trilogy box-set to match (well almost) play.com. As play now appear to be out of stock you cant really grumble for a whole 3p more.

I personally have never had a problem with Play; guessing I must be one of the lucky ones :)

Same here, always fast delivery, no problems, and I've used them a lot.

Both play and amazon are great - am a prime customer at amazon tho - so free next day special delivery swings it....:p

Managed to get the play deal and BDs posted today,
never had cause to complain with play, nor amazon either tbh.

Good for anyone who missed out on the play deal.

How much per year does Amazon Prime cost?

£49 per year

You can sign up for a free 1 month trial,
Cancel before the month's up and wont be charged.
Or contine for £49, taken as one off payment per year.

That's my understanding anyway.

Not as far as i know,

Maybe because of the play deal posted previously because of the quidco angle, its slightly cheaper but it was OOS earlier so far as some posts go.

If i hadnt gotten in on that i would have gone for this, therfore althouh not buying from this post, still voted hot.
Its a good deal, imo

This was the case last year & I did all my Christmas shopping this way but they have cottoned on to this!

As I did the same tactic this year but if you use it once or more than once i.e. the benefit of the next day delivery then you cannot cancel and stuck with the £49 bill...as ive now found out:x

I used my NUS extra card to get it at 12.33 as well... went onto NUS.org.uk and got my code from there. Seems to work with DVDs and blu rays, haven't checked with games yet. Annoyingly the discount doesn't work with blu rays on play.com, but you do get 5% off consoles! waiting for the ps3 with uncharted 2 to get back in stock to get it for £256!

Exactly the same, although doesn't work work games on amazon :(
basically if you have a nus online account you can get your code from there!

Agreed. Play are fine until things go wrong, e.g. you need to return something. Then they're shocking. But never had a problem returning stuff to Amazon.

Hot price.

There's a glitch in the Matrix - this should not be this CHEAP! I paid more! Wahhhhh. Excellent PQ - thoroughly recommended.
#25
Ahhhh sorry guys, I don't have my head screwed on properly today (blame revision...), I bought it from play, and thought I was reading that thread rather than the amazon one. Yeah it's a shame play don't give discount for blu-ray, thanks for the consoles tip though!
#26
Thanks, ordered heat added
#27
Almost worth just getting them all only really want the first movie and its a tenner.

Just ordered.

Now I just have to find some free time to watch them...the batman begins and dark knight blu ray are still gathering dust after almost a year...
#31
Batman Begins for £6? ;)

..on topic this is hot, I went to sleep last night praying play would still have some ready for when I woke up on payday (today), luckily Amazon were right there waiting for me.
#32
Mine was due to dispatch on Feb 1st, but has instead dispatched today! Sorted. :)
#33
