Next cheapest is £5.89!!!

Three-time Oscar®-nominee Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption) reunites with horror-master Stephen King to write and direct this chilling adaptation of the author's original short story, The Mist.

Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the 'The Arrowhead Project' conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group's overall chances for survival.

Very good film. My only complaint was that it was too short!
#5
We have just got it on blue ray, not watched it yet but should be good. Not decided whether to watch the colour version or black and white

i thought you were sposed to vote cold if this wasn't the best deal around not just if you don't like something?!

The ending should be shown to people who suffer from acute cheerfulness.

it's only a hot deal if you like it though!

cheesey film, slightly redeemed by at least a not expected ending. Expected far better from Frank Darabont to be honest, really wooden acting.

cool twist at the end

Why would you tell people that? Now people will spend the whole film trying to work out what the twist is.
#21
LOL - people either love the ending or hate it - for me it was a good ending and one that most people will not guess as it is not relavent until the last 10 minutes

This does look like the one disc version that does not include the black and white version

However I took advantage of the deal at £4.99 that looked the same and I ended up with the 2 disc version including the black and white version and the book as well so you may be lucky !

Classic Stephen King

:O)
#22
it even says so on the back of the dvd so its hardly spoiling the film
#23
Terrible film. Haven't voted either way though.
#24
The bit in the chemists with the spider things genuinely creeped me out, nasty...
#25
HOT i liked it. Great price.

Totally missing the point. It's MEANT to be cheesy! The makers wanted The Mist to echo those cheesy horror filcs from the 50's and 60's. Thats why the prefered way to watch this is in bw. I have it on BD and after watching both versions I can say the bw version is way better.

Actually I think YOU have missed the point NOWHERE on wikipedia does it say the "makers" (Frank Darabont) was meant to have echoed the cheesey horror flicks of the 50s and 60s and I have no idea where you have gotten that thought from.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mist_(film)

I had free tickets to see a preview at the cinema, and even then considered walking out, I stick with what I say personally I think it was cheesey with wooden acting, slightly redeemed by an unexpected ending.

I'm intrigued by this black and white version, is there anything different with it (e.g. music) or could everyone just watch this one with the contrast down??

Voted hot as it is a fairly recent film for only £2.99. Film wasn't great but definitely worth a watch.

Is this the 2 Disc Version?
The picture seems to say so but no details on the sire.

Cheesy point of view, slightly redeemed by using a Kitchens of Distinction sleeve as an avatar. Not only that but a sleeve that I designed as it happens

I actually like this film A LOT and at this price... HOTTY, HOT, HOT.

Long time ago, yep, 1992 to be precise!....guess you would have done the artwork for their "Breathing Fear" EP too as its very similar design, would be interested to know what other sleeve design you have done!

Such the underated band they were, so overlooked.
