Three-time Oscar®-nominee Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption) reunites with horror-master Stephen King to write and direct this chilling adaptation of the author's original short story, The Mist. Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the 'The Arrowhead Project' conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group's overall chances for survival.

decent price , but terrible film
Not the best film in the world but a brilliant ending!

Ruined by overly loud "dramatic" music. Also had to fast forward the parts with the annoying religeous nut job (and there were many) as she played the part a little too well!
From the reviews above I might give this one a mist.
I'm building up my collection for when I off work for 3 weeks after an Op so this will fill an hour or so!"!!
being a mum I was SO sad about the ending :o(
Make no mistake. This is a fantastic film from beginning to almost end. The ending was soooo bad. It undermined the film in my opinion. But it was a great film.
I would like to see the black and white version again which seems to be included on the disk. As for the deal, it could be £9.99 but who's quibbling. Thanks for posting.
great film but not worth £12 imho

I thought the ending was a bit outlandish. I mean; I hate kids but that kid was adorable! You couldn't shoot him in the face.
i really enjoyed it....
