Three complete shows / episodes on 1 DVD for £1.02....
Show 1:
Ernie invites Terry Wogan round to the flat to persuade him to make a pop record with Eric and himself. Success is guaranteed because Terry can play the record every morning on his radio programme. Terry reluctantly agrees to sing the song, which Ernie describes as really with it, although it doesnt turn out like that...
Original ITV Transmission 3 September 1980

Show 2:
From the comparative calm of playing a bank managers wife, lovely Hannah Gordon is pitchforked into the chaos created by Eric and Ernie. After all, she did not really expect to sing a song with them. Later, Ernie discovers that a fellow writer is living in the same block of flats. Hugh Paddick plays the eccentric poet, and when he enters the flat his high-flown language and artistic clothes leave him wide open to Erics gags.
Original ITV Transmission 10 September 1980

Show 3:
Ernie decides that Eric is getting far too cheeky, so he phones Rent-a-Giant and hires a rather big chap called Cosmo to help with the discipline. Later Ernie takes his partner to a Chinese restaurant; its all very difficult, because the tall one with the glasses much prefers sausage, egg and chips.
Original ITV Transmission 17 September 1980

Morecambe and Wise Show (The) - The Thames Years The Complete also available for £8.81
http://www.networkdvd.net/images/7952274med.jpg
Loved by the public and critics alike, the legendary team of Morecambe & Wise were a staple ingredient of British television for four decades. Unseen for many years and available for the first time on DVD, this set comprises not only their first series for Thames in 1980 but also their first four Thames Specials - including three of their wonderful Christmas Shows and their first special for Thames Television from 1978.

Bad puns, botched song and dance numbers, short fat hairy legs and something a little bit magical are brought together to form hilarious entertainment from the nation’s favourite comedians with aid from Terry Wogan, Hannah Gordon, Hugh Paddick, Dave Prowse, Deryck Guyler, Suzanne Danielle, Gemma Craven, David Frost, Glenda Jackson, Donald Sinden, Judi Dench, Leonard Rossiter and Alec Guinness.

Disc One: The Complete First Thames Series
Originally transmitted in Autumn 1980, this six episode series shows Eric and Ernie contending with pop music, rentable giants and, of course, Ernie’s outrageous ambition to be the best playwright in the world!

Disc Two: Special Features
This disc contains the first four specials made by Thames Television, including their first show (from 1978) and three Christmas Specials (1978 to 1980). Now a part of popular culture, these specials were required viewing on first transmission - after all, where else could you expect to see Eric’s impression of the last turkey in the shop!

World Pay seems to check out OK.

It's not a world pay credit card, it's a payment service! You just pay via worldpay on your normal credit/debit card.

OF course this is a great deal but it would be even greater if it was for the 2 disc set which included the complete first series plus 4 specials!

It seems the version on this offer is the one disc version only which runs 75minutes and only includes 3 episodes!

Gret find btw!

I did read it but im sure many people will pop in and not read it properly and then see the two BIG images posted which are of the two-disc set and NOT the 1 disc set that is on offer.

I just wanted to clear it up just incase people are ordering hoping for the 2 disc version!

Still a gret deal regardlessley!

Not meaning to P on your chips Andy, but as DJLeekee said This is only 3 episodes out of 6 from the Thames series, and people could be disappointed, and a quick search found the other dvd you listed cheaper, so not a good buy for me...but a good find non the less.
