Cracking Christmas prezzie @ this price & credit to quidditys_shore for the pointer in another thread !

This is the season for love, laughter, and one of the most cherished stories of all time! Join Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and all the hilarious Muppets in this merry, magical version of Charles Dickens' classic tale. Academy Award winner Michael Caine gives a performance that's anything but "Bah humbug" as greedy, penny-pinching Ebeneezer Scrooge. One fateful Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Together with kind, humble Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) and his family, the Spirits open Scrooge's eyes - and his heart - to the true meaning of Christmas.

Filled with original music and dazzling special effects, this fully restored and remastered MUPPETS 50th Anniversary Edition of THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL will become a Christmas tradition your family will treasure all the days of the year.

Misses bought this the other day and forced me to watch with... Okay I enjoyed it hot.
I'ts £6.93 on the website and I don't like that near to an ASDA :-(
Still a hot price!
Great price for a fab movie!

I don't think the one instore is the "fully restored and remastered MUPPETS 50th Anniversary Edition" though. The one I bought is the standard "cut" version, which doesn't contain the song "When Love Is Gone". Not a problem to most, but some people feel the cut version has been ruined by such a crucial scene missing.

For less than £3 you can't grumble though!
I've been looking for copy with the song 'when love is gone' and was hoping this would have it on there as it says anniversary copy. If not, does anyone know where you can hold of one of these copies? My mums favourite scene in the whole film
It's on telly this weekend if you want to try before you buy ;-)
It's on channel five at 5:20pm on Saturday

So is Elf - which you can also get from Asda instore for £3
Is it just me or has this deal expired? When I click on the link it goes to the main DVD section, and when i search for it, it shows it as being £6.93. I suspect they were just trying to get rid of old stock!
instore chuckles
people really are quite thick arent they  the clue is in the title!
Doh! Now i feel like a muppet! LOL

Blame it on Christmas pressure or something....

Although in my defence, I did *actually* see this online just yesterday....and came back today and thought this was the same thread.

Damm..apologies all.
your forgiven, dont let it happen again though
