What a steal. It may be the last thing on your mind as summer approaches but you will want this by Xmas when it will double in price or more!

Get it while it's hot....one of my very favourite movies

Or for an extra £2 you could get the Blu-ray+DVD set at Amazon

Had my eye on this for a while. Cheers OP ;-)

Can any owners comment of the quality please ?. From what I remember (long time ago) the normal release on TV was a little "grainy". Possibly an intentional added effect but curious about the blu version.

Possibly the worst film I have ever seen (at least on a par with 'The 'Tony' Blair Witch project)

COLD!

We have this film on Bluray, and as far as I am conserned it's an excellent transfer. We have the special edition DVD also, and it's alot better quality. Not sure about the extra features it claims to have, as reading the features mentioned some of them don't ring a bell ( mind you I maybe missed some of them )
One extra feature that's excellent for all those people like us who have been to Disney on a few occassions and tried to get some decent footage of the haunted mansion, there is a 30 minute film of Disney Anaheim, when it's transformed to NBFC meets the Haunted Mansion. We have only done Anaheim Disney once, but the ride inside from what I remember is similar to florida's.Also has Tim Burtons early stuff, like Frankenweenie and Vincent, if you like that sort of thing, and vincent price reading Burton's poem version of NBFC.Definately worth the price with all the extra's.

Just a word on the extras mentioned.I have just looked at the deal on Play.com, and even though it shows the same picture as the one I have ( collectors edition ) the extra's seem to be different. For the record I bought my copy from Amazon, and like i say, the the extra's on the one I purchased seem a better choice, Personal preference i suppose.
The other thing is, it may be the same one anyway, you know what play's descriptions can be like.

Film grain is not a flaw

The film does look fantastic on Blu-ray. As my copy came with the DVD too, I had a compare and could see a big difference.
