Voted hot. Not sure it's actually worth the price but if I didn't already have the film (and just about every other Burton production) i'd probably buy it.

So you can over package a DVD in a coffin but i'm not allowed a bag to carry my shopping at the supermarket?

Yeah but you're hardly likely to chuck a DVD case away and just keep the contents are you?

I don't chuck my bags in the bin. I just accumulate them, then make impromptu trips to the supermarket and need more

The wife used to do the same thing, even bought one of those irritating carrier bag storage things......

Basically a wall mounted dustbin for carriers that'll never be used again:lol:

I bet it looks truly disgraceful when filled with an assortment of colours :-D

Looked fine when I set fire to it:-D

Could have probably sold it for milliony as a 'work or art':w00t:

Nice packaging and great film but not sure its worth £12 for one 1 disc even if you haven't got the film.

BTW I accumulate carrier bags too but we use them as bin liners in the kitchen. I also take them to work for my boss as he uses them to pick up his dogs poo. I sometimes 'accidentally' give him ones with holes in, but he hasn't complained yet ;-)

Is this not the normal special edition with the wrong picture?

The picture is of the premium edition:

Hmmm, you could be right. If so it's definitely not worth £12 as it normally sells for around the £5 mark.

It's a new edition with new extras, I believe. Seems to be a UK version of the recent U.S. release:

No, this is an absolutely new edition replacing the old 2-disc.

New stuff:
# NEW! What’s This? Jack’s Haunted Mansion Holiday Tour – Viewers choose the way they want to tour Disneyland’s Holiday Haunted Mansion. “On Track” explores a tricked-out version of the Haunted Mansion, while “Off Track” reveals what went into creating all the creepy fun.
# NEW! Tim Burton’s Original poem narrated by Christopher Lee – Tim Burton’s poem that inspired the creation of the movie. Now, the original verse comes to creepy life as performed by legendary actor Christopher.Lee.
# NEW! Film Commentary – commentary by producer and writer Tim Burton, director Henry Selick and composer Danny Elfman.
# NEW! Introduction To Frankenweenie! – A new un-cut version introduction by Tim Burton.

I think you will find that the pic is the "Ultimate Collectors Edition" that comes with a ltd edition numbered and hand painted jack, skellington bust, and retails for about £100, as i actually have one myself, the 2 disc special dvd does come in special packaging but is not coffin shaped just a 3d rubbery jack skellington head on the cover, but i think hmv have the dvd for £7.49 delivered. hope this helps :)

Just received this today, and it is the same version available from other shops - not a coffin shaped package. :-(
