This is a great show at a great price for the 3-season set. I ordered it two days ago when amibees listed it as £12.99 at Play.com. It was £17.99 at Amazon at that time; because I had searched for it recently, it popped up on my main page when I went back to Amazon, now at a price undercutting Play by 1p!

Play.com said it was out of stock when I ordered, it now says "packing." I really hope that means they actually got more stock and will be sending soon, because otherwise I'd grab up this deal at Amazon!

I was dissapointed by the US version of the office.
It's good, but the characters (mainly Dwight) aren't as likeable as the British counterparts.
When Dwight and Michael get things wrong, they purely come accross as horrible people, whereas you can feel sorry for Gareth and David to a certain extent.

Basically, I get the urge to punch Dwight to death, whereas I could feel sorry for Gareth.
Does anyone else get what I mean?

I don't know, I prefer the U.S. version. Have you seen beyond the first season of it? I was so disappointed at first that I just didn't watch it anymore, thinking it could never be as good as the UK version. Then I kept hearing such good things about the U.S. version that I started watching again, and realized it had quickly come into it's own. It's now one of my favorite shows.

Yeah, only watched the first season.

I don't think I can enjoy the rest though.
Dwight annoys me THAT much.
Maybe though, when I get through my three seasons of Psych I have left to watch.

Best show ever, beats the British one hands down.

Dwight is one of the best comedy creations. The first season was the worst. They just followed the British formula, after that things got much funnier.

I was wondering the same thing months ago and did lots of Web searching (btw, I think they are through Season 6 in the States already!). There wasn't anything official out there, but someone said something believable in a chat forum about season 4 coming next year. It's hard to know what to believe, though, as I saw an ad in TV & Satellite week early this year saying The Office season 4 was coming soon, and then it never appeared! And so of course no dvds are sold in this country until the seasons have aired on tv (surely to not under-cut what could be made by selling them to TV first).

Those who have seen later seasons of The Office, did you order them from the States? Or have you found a cheaper option? I looked into the pricing on Amazon.com, and it was more than I wanted to pay. So tempting, though.

Dwights is class... though I think Andy is becoming my favourite (season 6).

The only way to keep up to date with The Office in the UK is download them. I think the latest episode I have watched is no.10, so still a way to go till the end of the season.

Anyone else love Creed? He's an amazing character. Doesn't say much but when he does it's usually really random and hilarious. "Oh, your paying too much for worms, man. Who's your worm guy?"
#14
yeah its all about creed!

in one episode the office is playing a murder mystery and creed comes to work late and asks michael whats going on and he replies theres been a murder and creed just turns around and legs it! its hilarious!
