Finally reduced to a very appealing price. Simular prices throughout The Hut group - next best is £22.84 @ SelectCheaper. I've chosen lovefilm as they offer 5% Quidco.

Synopsis
An adaptation of Ricky Gervais' sitcom THE OFFICE, THE OFFICE AN AMERICAN WORKPLACE is a comedy that follows the daily lives of employees at a fictional paper company. This collection includes every episode from series one through three, chronicling each moment of the flirtation (and much anticipated romance) between secretary Pam (Jenna Fischer) and prankster salesman Jim (John Krasinksi), as well as the painfully quirky exploits of super-geek Dwight (Rainn Wilson), and the gently angsty existence of the temp, Ryan (B.J. Novak). The show's true locomotive, however, is their boss, Michael Scott, played with masterly comic timing by Steve Carell. Scott is a middle manager of such shudder-inducing obliviousness that one never knows whether to be protective of him, embarrassed by him, or simply enraged at his behaviour; the only thing Carell's performance guarantees is an endless source of uncomfortable entertainment.

Wow that is brilliant - one of the best things on TV... I absolutely LOVE the office USA.

Hot from me :)

Ignore the first series, as it is just a rehash of the uk one. The rest are great though, much better than the uk one.

Sorry but you are all wrong, the bloke doing the Martine Freeman bit is cringeworthy for all the wrong reasons and this is NOWHERE near as good as the UK version
#8

Martine?! You must mean Martin... plus, surely if you don't know the character names, you haven't watched it enough to make that comment? :?
#10
I don't like to admit it, but this is better than the UK version, imo.
#11
Absolutely amazing, love it. They are all very funny in there own ways, dwight is hilarious and the secret love with jim and pam is heartfelt and michael scott is just a cringeworthy as david brent.

Just started watching season 3 gaywitch hunt, the bit at the end with the Gaydar is hilarious.
#12
ive made this hot but its gone down to 111 degrees which is criminal - for fans of the series this is a super price. i have them all seperate and im now right at the end of Season 5 in the US (last two eps back to back next week) but everyone should get this for such a low price.

It's an incredible show.

But it's also an incredible show that's £14.99 for Season Three in Asda.

This is £17.93 for series' 1 - 3, not per series... you get all three in the boxset

Real grower of a show, I hated it before I gave it a chance but it's a good way to carry on from the original I think... hot!

In that case, I worship at the feet of the original poster.

Hot, hot, hot!
#18
its good but nowhere near as good as the uk one, the new series has been crap, it doesnt seem to go anywhere
#19
Fantastic show, utterly hilarious.
I think this is just about the only british show the americans have remade and actually improved.

Almost a completely different show from the original, as long as you ignore the terrible first season
#20
Top value although I get mine else where for a fair bit less and a lot quicker. Sorry but can´t post that here though...

I've been catching odd episodes of this series out of sequence on american airlines. The characters have really grown on me. I look forward to starting from the beginning in the right sequence! Hot from me.
#29
Started watching this the other week on Paramount Comedy, never really seen the British version but have really been loving this one, it's absolutely great. Bargain price for 50-odd episodes too!
#30
So few people even entertain watching this but it is fantastic. The bit in the first(?) ep of the new series, Fire Drill, where Angela throws a cat (she has kept in a drawer) up into the ceiling and it come straight down thru the tiles had me laughing for about a week. And Jim faxing Dwight with Dwight's own headed notepaper, claiming to be Dwight from the future, is genius. Seeing as the show has history with The Simpsons and King of the Hill, it's well worth giving a go.

If it makes it easier, tell them to imagine it's an american office of the same company as the british one.
#31
Voted hot.

Once you get into it you realise how much better it is than the UK version.
BTW Creed is on Solitaire all the time if you look at his pc screen !
#32
Great series, well better than the UK version!
#33
Personally, I think the comparison between the UK and American versions isn't a valid point; both shows are entirely different beasts, bearing exception to a handful of early season 1 episodes of the american series.

Regardless, this is a **** hot price for all three seasons in one box! Most fans'll agree that the series hasn't managed to recapture the peaks of seasons 2 & 3, and that alone is reason to plump for this.
#34
At a (nearly) fiver a series this is a no-brainer...

Heat & rep 4 you..
#35
Awesome series. Already own them but well worth it - even for a gift for someone who likes the UK Office and has never watched the American one. HEAT!
#36
Excellent. I love this show. HOT!
