Worth a look for real big fans of Michael. Click the link and check it out, says special deal through ticketmaster only. There's a 3D tour of it, worth a look, good deal although i can't afford it at the moment.

A definitive photographic tribute with exclusive and unseen images, the official career compendium Michael Jackson was helping to create himself, and the only one approved and endorsed by his estate.
With exclusive access to Michaels own archives, Opus brings you an amazing collection of previously unpublished photographs, personal essays and quotes from well-known names in the entertainment industry and will stand as a lasting tribute to this extraordinary performer.

£100+ for a book? :w00t:

Not voting either way as there is nothing to compare it to but seems a bit greedy from the publishers

was reading about this yesterday-looks very nice, however, not sure this is a "deal"-you can only buy it from one place so they arent competing on price with anyone.

I am considering buying this actually but just saying this post belongs in misc doesnt it?

DHL Delivery in Dec 2009 (includes Order Processing Fee) of £16.50 for shipping to the UK, Ireland & other countries.

Plus whatever custom charges if applicable.

Would have like one myself if shipping was included.

Hope they produce a book of this quality when Gary Glitter sadly dies

Actually this is a bargain price if you consider the other Opus books they have for sale

Arsenal Opus (https://www.krakenopus.com/store/product.php?id=7) - £3000
Maradona Opus (https://www.krakenopus.com/store/product.php?id=8) - £3000

And they are signed respectively by Wenger and Maradona.

Not sure why anyone would spend several thousand on just one book though...

I don't get this, where is the deal? Why has this been posted as one? Should be shoved in miscellaneous, in fact any MJ post should be shoved there lol.

King of entertainment...yeah, King of pop...ermm was he really a songwriter, nope. Thankfully the world did not cash in the same when a true songwriter was murdered...John Lennon, or perhaps things were just different back then.

why?? Glitter was convicted Jackson wasn't
#13
If Mr Glitter had as much money as Mr Jackson, he probably wouldn't have been convicted either. Justice in America can be bypassed by cold hard cash. But I am not saying MJ was guilty before someone starts, he was after all found innocent that time.

I don't get it. Its a book that you hold up to a webcam and then a video plays? What a piece of ****.

It's called "cashing in".

COLD.

Of course you wouldn't be saying that, had it been some typical bloke from a council estate, and going by your logic, does this mean OJ Simpson was innocent of killing his wife?

Michael Jackson absolutely cannot be a paedophile, because I like his music :whistling:

If you're proven innocent in a court of law, then you are innocent. Its infantile of you to say he is guilty with no proof or evidence.

OJ Simpson later got convicted in the Civil Case, despite being found innocent in the Criminal Case.

Michael Jackson was found innocent by 3 juries over a period of 15 years. 2 grand juries in 1993 & 1 jury in 2005. Michael Jackson is an innocent man, wrongly accused of child abuse by greedy parents.

Ah but what about the settlement against Jordy Chandler, I hear you ask . . .

. . . Well, read up on the FACTS first & then decide why this decision was made:

Michael Jackson did more in his short life than some communities do in a lifetime of charitible work.

RE: Jordan Chandler & that out-of-court settlement

By January 1, 1994, $2 million had been spent by prosecution departments in California, two grand juries had questioned two hundred witnesses, but Jordan's allegations could not be corroborated.[34] A few weeks later, Chandler's attorney, Larry Feldman, petitioned the court that he should be allowed access to Jackson's finances over concerns that the singer's wealth would give him an unfair advantage in court. One adviser to Jackson stated, "You can take pictures of Michael's dick and he's not gonna like it, but once you start trying to figure out how much money he has, that's where he stops playing around."[34] On January 25, Jackson settled a civil suit out of court. Both he and his attorney Johnny Cochran agreed to settle the case for 22 million dollars.[27][34] After that Jordan refused to testify in a criminal trial, neither the police nor the grand jury pressed criminal charges, citing a lack of evidence without Jordan's testimony, and Jackson was not charged with a crime.[11][13][27][34] Both parties signed a legal agreement declaring they would not speak about the case details. When asked why he paid off his accuser, Jackson answered, "I wanted to go on with my life. Too many people had already been hurt. I want to make records. I want to sing. I want to perform again...It's my talent. My hard work. My life. My decision."[34] He also wanted to avoid a "media circus".[11]

Legal Papers[35] submitted by his attorneys in 2002 objecting to the supoena of the settlement document state Jackson did not give his permission for the settlement and it was made over his wishes.

Mr. Jackson could not control nor interfere with his insurance carrier's demand to settle the dispute.
