The book is sooooo much better - hard to put into words just how much!

£3.98 at Amazon too, if you need a filler. :)

This film had lots of tension and scared me to bits, at least it did when I saw it 20 odd years ago. Anyone know how it holds up?

I rented it a couple of years ago after reading I am Legend(for those not in the know this is a film of it before the will smith one).

It was actually pretty good, just dont go in expecting much.

I prefer the Wiil Smith movie - Charlton Heston is a bit wooden. IMO Decent price. ;-)

I saw this about 6 months ago and really enjoyed it. Heat

i thought this film sucked balls. Real waste of an excellent book

anyone see the original with vincent price?

Much better than the Will Smith remake despite Charlton Heston's dodgy toupee and his unconvincing non lookalike stunt double.
Rosalind Cash, his co-star is gorgeous

The book is far superior to this tosh. The Will Smith movie was fun, but was more like an updated re-imagining rather than a version of the book.

If anyones intrested it's gonna be on TCM 1500 today and 7ish on TCM 2.

Fabulous film that is loosely based on the Richard Matheson story.

21:00 GMT on TCM2. Sky+ set.

Heat added.

Both films dodged the real ending which tells why he is 'Legend' made no sense to call the Film that when it missed that part of the story.

I watched this and the original Vincent Price film after seeing the Will Smith film. I preferred the Will Smith version. This one has not aged well.

BTW, doesn't the girl on the right of the cover look like Heather Mills :-D
