Is it really? I always considered a Hot Deal to be something that represented a considerable saving. It's not like anyone is going to hop in their car and blow £'s on petrol just to save 50p on milk now is it?

If it was a whole cow for 50p, now that'd be something.

I don't think anyone is suggesting you make a special trip!

£1.38 typical milk price for 2 litres dow n to 50p is a saving of 88p....don't knock it. 88p is a lot of money to save for some of us.

Hmmmm.... Your reasoning is flawed I think.

Most people visit a supermarket at least once a week. And given that ASDA have a huge market share, it's a safe bet to say that a large number of peeps on here would be visiting their local ASDA over the next few days. So hardly blowing £'s on petrol when they would have gone there anyway.

And that's a saving of 88p - its less than half price. If that's not hot, what is?

Very hot deal, Love this milk but i wish arla's cravendale was brought down to this price as well.
#7
I really like this milk.

It will save you even more if you stock up and freeze it !
Could even be enough of a saving to pay for your petrol to do your regular shop this week and while your there dont forget your petrol, it supposed to be reduced again at Asda.
There it only takes a little bit of thought and that saving has started to add up
"Happy Shopping" ;-) Lol!

Why are u even on this site... If u shop in Asda then this is a decent saving when it comes to getting milk.

50p for a cow would be a sweet deal though

You've contradicted yourself, this is just over 1/3rd of what you'd normally pay, if you consider a hot deal to be something that represents a considerable saving then by your definition this is a hot deal!
Perhaps after reading all the responses to your message you might think twice about posting stupid responses.

great heat added, well worth a trip if your using 3 or 4 of these a day for a big family or if you have a big freezer to freeze.

smoke that

I'm with Gazbert. All these supermarket deals are ridiculous. If you shop at ASDA you'd see this offer when you picked up your milk anyway.

I'm not saying that it's a bad deal. I am saying that pretty much every single supermarket constantly has a very large selection of "hot deals" that change every week, and saving 88p on milk is hardly going to make a significant dent in your weekly shopping bill.
#17
The One Milk to rule them all!

No, but several 'hot deals' saving you £5 will.
