On the website it says:

Pay Monthly.
24 month plan
2,000 any network minutes
5,000 Three-to-Three minutes
5,000 texts
1GB internet
From £28 a month.

SIM Only.
12 month plan
2,000 any network minutes
5,000 Three-to-Three minutes
5,000 texts
1GB internet
£25 a month.

I rang Three and they replaced my existing price plan with this for £25/month (I was already on a £25/month contract with 500 any network minutes), it was a contract which I recently upgraded to, HTC Hero 24 month term.

I did try to get the same deal for my second contract HTC Desire which i'm also paying £25/month on a 24 month contract, they offered my £35/month. I got it down to £30/month if I extended the contract by another 3 months. I didn't accept i'll be ringing them back in a few days to try again.

Why so cold?

Because a lot of people didn't like Three a few years ago and aren't grown up enough to consider that circumstances have changed and their prejudices are out of date. Every Three deal gets slagged off by people who had reception or service problems in the past.

if you sold the phone for 180 on ebay, this would be a awesome deal. works out a lil bit more than 12 a month for all that insane minutes and texts. however i just can believe you actually pay 25 a month for a phone that's come out for more than a year. you could ve got a iphone for that price in tesco you know?

3 have really **** off quite a lot of people with this. Arbitrarily bump up the xnetwork minutes as an excuse to charge a ridiculous amount for your top end handsets in comparison to other networks. Up until a few months ago you could get an HTC Desire, 900 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and 2 years Spotify Premium for £33 a month.

Then they introduced this rubbish. Been a perfectly happy 3 customer for ages and I was really getting excited about upgrading my E71 to an Android handset in October but they're now really pushing me to sign on for this One Plan, the only problem being that because they already offer me 500 minutes, free skype and 3,000 3-to-3 minutes, I don't want or need an extra 1,500 xnet minutes when I'm not going to use them.

exactly. it's no good if you are not gonna use it. and now they tend to ask people to sign 24 month contracts.

I used three for the last 4 years, and TBH had no issues. Then I moved house, and only t-mobile sims can get a signal in my living room.
