BGT tonight was a great example of a pushy parent putting there child in situation they couldnt handle. I had much sympathy for her when it all went pear shaped.

Does anyone else think it was unacceptable the mother was allowed on stage when they were deciding who should stay?

When I reach the point where I need advice from Boris Johnson I'll know there is something very wrong with my life!

Sorry, but my wife made me watch a clip of it on You Tube. the little girl struck as being quite disengenous. Although very upset (apparently), she still manged to remain lucid enough to repeat her desire to start again.

I'm not heartless, but I have 3 girls and I know that girls can be more savvy/emotionally intelligent than boys and IMO she suckered everyone. I'm not saying she wasn't at all upset - I'm saying she exploited the situation. And for the record talented: yes; national level talented: no - recall the young girl who sang last year, Farrul Smith (it was me who was weepy eyed as she sang, she was astounding).
