Thought-provoking, revelatory and just plain cool - McGoohan's iconic series is as fresh and dynamic now as it was when first unleashed upon an unsuspecting world in 1967. To celebrate the series' fortieth anniversary this definitive box set contains all seventeen episodes.

at the time this was made it was so different to anything else . I was just a teenager and absolutely fascinated by it and if you're from the next generation I doubt you would get it at all. Macgoohan is marvellous as the prisoner and to my mind it's worth watching just to remember his screen presence and just appreciate how good an actor he was. Definately a classic series....

not so tru, im afraid.

I was born long after this series was finished and find it fascinating. Its a great show and, at this price, one ill be adding to my retro collection!

Thanks OP!

errrr, I think you might have been watching on a b&w set (unless you are referring to Dangerman being B&W)

I have just finished watching the whole series, and can confirm that it is all in full colour. I can also confirm that the series ends up going completely bonkers by the end. Great fun though

Not only in colour, it was shot on film so they've been able to release it in HD.

The Blu Ray is superb, I didnt think it would be so good but it is, because its been shot in film and remastered. Hold out until you get it on BR.
