Though it ran for a mere 17 episodes, the sci-fi spy drama THE PRISONER is one of television's biggest cult hits. The brainchild of star Patrick McGoohan, the series followed the adventures of No. 6 (McGoohan), a former secret agent who is being held captive in a highly secured village, the location of which remains a mystery throughout the series. This groundbreaking and innovative show reached an unfortunate end as TV bosses got cold feet following low ratings and increasingly strange story lines. But McGoohan himself took control and steered the show to an ending that continues to cause great debate among THE PRISONER's faithful fans. This release includes the entire series of the show, digitally restored.

This IS a defining moment in TV broadcasting, a sublime series, don't even bother with the recent abominable USA re-make.

If you use the INVICTUS4 code it comes to £10.99. Very cheap.

Tempted, but the blu has a great rep so will wait for a deal on that. Hot though.

Excellent, but quite confusing series.

Judging by the amount of police that were on the A487 when I was caught for speeding, I think they're still waiting for him to escape!

Wonderful series but after one episode of the remake I gave up.
A great buy. How dare you call the remake abominable !!!!!
It wasn't that good.

You made it through the whole episode? You're braver than I thought.

Much like using Edward Woodward in "CI5: The New Professionals".

i wouldn't use gzoop - they had a ps3 game advertised but after i'd placed the order and it was confirmed they'd fulfil the order they didn't - took my money for a month and had to put a claim in with priceminister to get it back - gzoop have really poor customer service and just lie - lure you in with fake deals they have no intention of honouring in my experience - so good luck with this one but i would advise avoiding them from personal experience - i most certainly will never use them again!

Hmm strange, as I've often used Gzoop on Priceminister and everything has arrived really quickly for me!

A bargain at £10.99, considering the Blu-Ray set is the best part of £40 at the moment. I would rather just buy the DVD for now and then I can always upgrade when the Blu-Ray reduces in price.

Wot's the point - I got the original ? Complete DVD, then the Anniversary DVD, then the 2nd Complete Box - now this and the BR?

Answer my own questions, now.

Has anyone ordered this from PriceMinister/Gzoop and had their order dispatched yet?
#20
I can confirm that my copy arrived today. I am a new customer to Gzoop.

I ordered the DVD box set on the 12th July, received the registration of the order on the same day (pending discount approval). Confirmation of the order arrived on the 13th. Funds were taken out of my bank on the 15th. Emailing order was dispatched on the 16th. It arrived today on the 17th. Please note that the costings listed in the registration of order stated £14.99, the despatch email and despatch letter states £17.99. But I was only ever charge £10.99 (from my bank account). I used the discount code INVICTUS4, which seems to be a discount code for the INVICTUS Blu Ray film ! However I am very pleased with my purchase and the speed of service.

Ops slight typo there "Emailing order was dispatched on the 16th" should read "Order Despatched email was sent on the 16th". Good luck with your orders.
