it sounds quite good, i would like it but most of these type games are badly let down by the crappy game engine. i think ill give it a miss until it gets cheap. Has anyone here played it? whats it like?

I really like this had it as a rental its like GTA meets WW2

This is a fantastic game! If you like open world sandbox games like GTA this is a brilliant example of the genre. The attention to detail is sublime.

I often play for 5 hours at a time yet only do a few missions. There is so much to do in free play as you can roam around the huge city or out into the countryside and locate Nazi installations all over the place. It's brilliant to find a new location and work out a strategy for taking out the target. Being able to unlock 'perks' which improve the characters skills etc add's a cool dimension to the game. I can see myself playing this for months.

I play on the PC version.

I have to agree this is a great game truly fantastic. It lets you choose how you want to play you can sneak about blowing things up or run about throwing grenades as you go. I'm playing on the xbox but i think it looks a liitle better on the PS3 so would reccommend at this price i think theres over 400 free play targets so plenty to keep u busy

I didn't realise there were so many - superb. There does seem to be loads and it add's a real feeling of the world being 'alive'. The freeplay targets don't just feel tacked on. To be honest I actually find attacking those targets more rewarding than the missions (at least where I am now). I assaulted an old castle the Nazi's took over recently. Found a way to the top and found a special scenic point. Felt great to sneak in and take out the guards during a thunderstorm.

Good to see the price of this drop. Well worth it. Lots to do and ton's of replay value.

Think I'm going to have a blast now. ;)

Yep the ps3 version is the better one and it is a very good game had more fun with this than assasins 2 although that is alot more polished. heat.

Its more like 1000 free play targets. And as a result it does get repetative. Its a pretty good game tho tbh. Im convinced its on the Godfather engine so that should give you an idea of how it looks.

333 ambient freeplay in Paris Area 1.
212 ambient freeplay in Paris Area 2.
239 ambient freeplay in Paris Area 3.
53 ambient freeplay in Saarbrucken.
76 ambient freeplay in Le Havre.
425 ambient freeplay in the countryside.

Yeah if you like going after non-mission targets you will *love* Saboteur. Lots of life to the game world and ton's to do. The climbing system works brilliantly as well as you can pretty much climb up anything.
