]I bought this game yesterday for friend's sons 10th birthday, needed it specifically yesterday because his birthday's today and had to take it around last night!

I bought it from a Currys store, got them to pricematch Asda's online price.

Take along a printout of http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/editorial/Price%20Promise to Currys and take the game to the cashier. Ask them to pricematch Asda online price. The woman in the shop tried to fob me off saying `we have to phone the nearest Asda to make sure they have stock at that price` - I pointed out the "Price promise applies to the lowest price offered by these retailers, whether that’s online or in-store" and told her to check the Asda website and then she agreed I was right and did it for £17.93. :) I couldn't be bothered to argue over the extra 10% promise though I maybe ought to have persued that too.
I don't think she was aware of their own Price Match Promise, she asked if she could keep my printout of it

Also works at PCWorld with http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/editorial/price-match-promise. They pricematch more online stores, including Amazon :)
I was going to get a Netgear from there, £80 instore at pcworld, £40 at Amazon, get it there and then from pcworld for £36 (110% price match promise) and no even have to wait for Amazon free delivery.

Hint, check PCWorld/Currys have stock of whatever it is you want them to pricematch before you go to store. Simply choose the item off their website and choose the [email protected]` option - it will tell you if it's available in your preferred store.

Currys showed they had stock of the Simpsons Game in the store I went into, but I didn't reserve it and it wasn't on the shelf so I asked if they had stock backroom and they went and fetched me one. Then they pricematched it. Result, happy 10 year old this morning
