Bit of a bargain I think at £5, ~£17 on-line from HMV and I think its a tenner on Amazon.

Uploading a picture of the receipt and the BR box for the next post.

Although I suspected this, I wasn't sure as things seem to expire within minutes of being posted.

Does Blue Ray really make that much difference to a cartoon? Anybody compared the normal DVD against this?

I must have missed this today, in the Reading HMV the staff were marking lots of stuff down with sale stickers. Nothing really stood out but they were probably mid way thru. I did get Buzz Quiz TV for PS3 for £7.

Obviously you haven't seen pixar movies or the like on Bluray! :w00t:

i've just been in my local HMV (Livingston) and walked out with this and a few others for £5 - Lucky Number Slevin, March of the Penguins and Fearless. There was also Commando and Cool Hand Luke for a fiver with a few copies of each film still out on the shelves.
#26
Make sure you watch before you buy, the film is a serious marmite film.

I hated it. As I do for the series for the last few years. But the early series (up to series 12) was comedy gold.
#27
No sign of deal in Worcester hmv
#28
Just been to my local (Cwmbran) and they only had Xmen, Wallace and Gromit a matter of loaf and death, leatherhead & some other crappy film for £5 no simpsons or cool hand luke which is what i wanted :( Took the simpsons to the till to see if it scanned at £5 as it had £19.99 tagged on it and it scanned at a disgusting £29.99

Nothing in the London HMV's. Asked SA and the guy said it was store specific and only for smaller stores downsizing stock.

Obviously you'd be wrong.

You're comparing the Simpsons movie to a Pixar film

Yeah, this wont be ALL stores unfortunately. Each store should have at least some £5 stock of various blu rays but it will differ from store to store as to which titles they are

Some bargains to be though!
#35
no cheap blu rays of any kind in the Chesterfield store.

Same in Wigan, only cheapish stuff was Matrix at £10, but already picked up the boxset online for £16 :?
