Hot, was thinking about this last night while watching Jericho

I remember watching this on TV when it first came out and like most KING books/films starts off really good but always has a stupid ending, Good price.

Is it this mini series? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108941/
Great value if it is, 4 episodes and a good cast to boot.

Not seen this but the book is one of my all time favourites. In fact ill dig it out and start the marathon again!
Good price though and lets face it it COULDNT be a worse adaption of King work than The Running Man... eeeww.

It was Tom Cullen that said that though. Or were you just testing us?

But The Running Man was a watchable film. This isnt. It doesnt do the book justice and its a crappy made for TV mini series that isnt even a patch on the adaptation of IT.

Serendipitous this, as I'm currently reading "Cell". He's a bit obsessed with the end of the world, this Mr King.

I enjoyed Cell, good book (bit of a lame ending - as usual).

I was expecting a lame ending (as usual). It's more about the journey there with this author isn't it?

(Although the ending of Pet Semetary still chills me when I think about it...)

Pet Semetary did have a good ending! Some do but Needful Things, IT, etc. are awful endings. You're right, thought, definitely about the journey. Good way of looking at it.

I just finished reading the book and am curious about watching the film adaptation. Is this worth watching?

Kind of...but the imagery from the book is better than the film...I am always curious to see film adaptations, even though most ruin the book.
