In 1989, the British music scene was changed forever when a Mancunian band known as The Stone Roses released a self-titled debut album that would provide enough musical agility to influence countless bands in the years that would follow. Two decades on, this anniversary edition of 'The Stone Roses' features the now legendary 'Fools Gold' and 'She Bangs The Drums', among others, remastered. hot best band ever

Even if you have the original this is still worth it. Not only for the Demos and Live DVD, the main album has been remastered and it sounds even better than the original. If that is possible..
#3

Message to Silvertone...Stop prosituting the ar$e out of this fu**ing band. How many more re-issues, remasters do we have to have paraded in front of us...A least Geffen left them with some dignity.
#16
Actually I'd rather Silvertone actually gave the Roses some money. I think they got a flat fee for this reissue, but the torturous contract they originally signed meant that they never see any of the profits from the first album. Explains why they went mental when they got the advance for the 2nd..
#17
Aint' gonna happen, they're lining their own pockets and you can only *******ise this album so many times.
