Paul Roberts hasn't been in the band since 2006, John Ellis left in 2000.

I gave up on the Stranglers when Hugh left, maybe a bit before he did even and most of what followed was largely dross until an album called Norfolk Coast came out that was astonishingly good and sounded almost like the Stranglers of old. That was Roberts' last as lead vocalist and Baz Warne took over. It's not and won't ever be the same but he does a fine job and they're very good value live and the last album Suite 16 was pretty decent.. Hugh recently said in typically sardonic style that their continued existence was "like having your very own tribute band" or something like that.

Heat added for curiosity value if nothing else!
