Previous participants will need 5 tokens from the papers, I am not sure if this is the same for people who have not been before.

I hope that helps anyone that wants to go, please don't be too harsh with me though it is my first "deal find!!

Happy holidays....

LOL@£15 per person
I've been on a couple of these with friends. £15, excluding electricity, linen, entertainment pass (inc. in-house shop, cafeteria), 15" TV, etc, etc.
You can go for £15 is you are willing to sleep on a bare matress with no food, TV, cooking or heating. Otherwise it usually costs closer to £75 per person. I could do a mini cruise to Denmark, food included, for a similar price.
The last one of these I went on in Pwlheli ... the accomodation was damp and drab. It looked like the accom. had been inhabited by squatters previously.
Voted cold i'm afraid. Sorry.

Plus you might have to buy The Sun, or travel with people who do. :viking:

I had a brilliant holiday off Haven's late deals on the website.
It was £100 and we got £10 back for the bed linen deposit.
We were in a silver 3 bedroom caravan.
The sun offers are good alot of my friends use them, just not for me.
thanks for the info tho.

Thanks for your input Scribbles I get where you are coming from.
I would be going with my partner and his team mates for an american football game so it works out alot cheaper than b&bs etc - that mostly don't accept groups and are nearly all fully booked in Newquay for June.
Some of the places aren't the best but I'd only ever pick the Haven ones they offer and we will hardly be there so will not need to pay for entertainment etc only the elec charge.

Just thought I would give a heads up to those that are interested.

That's fair enough. If you know what to expect, and you are gonna use it as a cheap and cheerful place to kip overnight, then great.
Just warning of the pitfalls of thinking that a family of four can enjoy a cheap four days away for £60 plus food ;-)
Be careful of thinking that you will get the dates you want too. You get two choices of dates. But you rarely get the dates you want. We chose two dates in Early Sept and ended up with late Oct LOL
Pwlheli in late Oct is NOT fun LOL
It was flippin' freezing, and we had about 5" of rain dumped on us over the four days.

LOL it really doesn't sound like you had any luck at all on that holiday Scribbles!
Thankfully the internet booking makes it alot easier now because you can just input the one date you want and it tells you straight away if you've got it....
If we can't get that date at that Haven park we won't book! In which case I've no idea what we'll do - probably end up sleeping in our cars :o)

Just to remind anyone interested first token starts today........

I had a holiday at Barmston Beach the other weekend which was booked with the Sun. It was fine, the caravan was clean & tidy and the kids enjoyed the play area and the clubhouse. You have to expect cheap & cheerful after all you're not going to get 5 star luxury for £15 per peson are you? So thanks to the op for the helpful reminder x
#18
Nope, I don't expect 5* for £15. But I do expect it to be £15, if it is hyped as being at that price. With these, it's £15 just to pass through the gatehouse. They would charge you extra for the air you breath whilst on site, if they could get away with it.
We were charged £20 for electric and gas, for example. I don't think you could feasibly even burn £20 of electric and gas in three days in a caravan even if you left everything running 24/7 :whistling:
And anyway, why would you do that?
#19
You can now book on-line and see all the surcharges before you hit submit. Gas and electricity is usually around £5 per night and some charge for 'entertainment'. But I wouldn't bother with the entertainment passes, we never do, and we've never been asked for a pass.
There are some very nice places to stay if you choose carefully, and it can make a good family break and work out a lot cheaper especially during the school holls.
