You can take your holiday in March, April, May, September, October and November. We've even got some February half term breaks from £9.50, as well as some Summer breaks from just £15 per person!

Just book it yourself. We did this deal this year, and once we'd upgraded and paid for the extras, it would have been cheaper and more convenient to book direct.

This is ok if you don't bother upgrading, but barely a deal if you do.

I agree, I try and find deals which already indicate no hidden extras for example in Paignton, Devon http://www.ardencaravans.co.uk has self catering caravan holidays for 7 nights for a total price of £129 which includes all heating, electric and entertainment passes.

having already booked a Haven holiday last year, we looked at one of these, and the price worked out the same in the end.

These are great if you have to try for half term , Easter holidays if you have no choice outside these. That's when you save a lot. Been using these for 4 years , brilliant. Thanks op hope I get form through soon.

I have had my code emailed to me once, I hope they do email them this time as I've moved so unlikely to get a priority code

Went to St Jean de Monts in the Vendee region on this deal about 5 years ago, stayed in a mid-range Keycamp 'van. Good value.

I phoned The Sun a couple of years back saying that we hadn't received our priority booking form. I was told that they don't necessarily send one to past customers. That has got to be the strangest marketing strategy I've ever seen; get somebody interested then ignore them.

Problem with this offer is you have to share your holiday with lots of Sun readers! ;)

Thanks op, I will be very much taking advantage of this this year as we overspent on last years holiday by scary amounts!!! I wonder if anyone has taken advantage in the past of the abroad deals??? Have just looked on the Sun website and they do deals to Costa Dorada?? Any advice on this would be appreciated guys x

Been on 5 of these holidays now all in Europe, usually save 50% + on normal costs. The European campsites are so much better than UK and sunnier. Italia here I come again!!

In fact we're all so uneducated that we need to have impolite comments posted twice in succession for us so that we get the message more clearly......

And comments like these only further highlight why prejudice is omnipresent in life..sigh.

I've been on these annually or more since the mid 90's and have never had a bad one - except one Pontins where the "chalets" were arranged like a WW2 prison camp and we had two cupboards instead of bedrooms and only two chairs could fit at the dining table (we had to eat in three sittings) LOL ... but still memorable.

Of late, more and more camps are charging for passes, electricity and other stuff, so watch out for these as it can bump the price up quite a bit.

We normally just use the camp as a base to sleep and get out early and come back late.

Personally, I think the Sun, NOTW etc have done a brilliant job in helping out with some cheap holidays.

Ever considered that many people who get these holidays via this site don't actually read the Sun? I read the Times or Telegraph, so I guess you'll not meet me as you won't be taking up the offer?

My main gripe is that the holidays are almost exclusively in caravans, which I hate, rather than the far superior yet less sought after chalets.

I also read The Telegraph, and the only times I've ever bought The Sun has been for my very first 'Sun Holiday' booking, subsequent holidays being booked using priority codes and forum posted codes.

These are good value to us, as we only use the accommodation as a base and cancel the entertainment passes included on the invoice from the site (although they're very often still included in the pack when arriving) and take our own linen.

And should The Times or Telegraph ever offer their readers 'superior exceptional value £9.50 per person vacations', I suspect they'd be booked by the same people who go on Sun, Mirror, etc. hols.

Edited By: Scrungee on Dec 30, 2010 18:41: bit about cancelling passes & linen added

might sound stupid but does this include flights for the overseas accomadation or is it just the resort you get for 9.50

I agree with Waldolf, we just use these as a base and normally have a great time, especially if you research the camps etc. Doubt we will get a priority form this time as we have moved and would have missed this so thanks for the heads up OP. Have some heat :)

Don't tell me, a Daily Mail reader. Now that is one scary xenophobic paper. I don't buy any newspapers now due to their oh so biassed views.

We've always done Sun hols, usually to Haven parks and it is always much cheaper - I check before booking! And we never read the Sun!
