Picked it up for similar price from Book People late last year. Don't think they still do it online though.

Bananas tend to stock whatever The Book People or Red House books have as surplus, they're all part of the same company.

I must confess, I would never buy a £75 book, but going by the reviews on Amazon this one seems worth £15

Complete History of the World

Beginning with the story of early man ...

Is it written from a creationist point of view? They say it is the complete history, yet they also say it starts from the story of early man. Everyone that is not a creationist knows that man has been on earth for a minute fraction of the history of the earth. So this "complete" history misses out the 99.99 whatever percent of the history.

If you're reading this, you have the internet, which has far more information than this book could ever dream of! :)

We're probably getting off-topic here but it might surprise you that many creationists would agree with you regarding the Earth's age. It's not creation vs. science, they can co-exist peacefully. I am both a creationist and a scientist (well, at least a computer scientist :))
