Beware. I have has subs offers before with vouchers direct from The Times, and not all newsagents take the vouchers as they do not get full cover price back from The Times. Check with your newsagent first.

Poor offer.

I now pay £3 a week for The Times on subcription.

Also Mon-Fri costs just 35p in University shops = £1.75 for weekdays.
Vouchers used to be available for students to buy from any store that accepts vouchers.
They get cover price plus 1p!

The quality of the news is pathethic.
They fill the paper with repeated news.
E.g. on Monday there will be a leading article on a certain page.
On Tuesday the same story will be on the side sections of the paper.
On Sunday, the entire weeks' stories are repeated.

At the end of your subscription, cancel it. Wait 1 month and they beg you to come back.
Last year I paid £2.50 a week.

Many articles connnect sentences with AND.
Technically, there is nothing wrong with a sentence starting with AND, but it is difficult to stop your children copying this, and teachers hate it. The Times uses the worst aspects of English.

The Telegraph is a higher standard. Alas, I could not get such a cheap offer!

Agreed. Plus the hassle - and I do mean hassle - I had trying to cancel on this deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/39675...-delivered-fo/ has not impressed me with this company
